I got to play this with the developers at Genesis 8 where side games like Guilty Gear Strive, Nick All Star Brawl and Rivals of Aether got to shine on stage and I couldn't help but to think why this game didn't get the same opportunity! If you like everything I just listed or are a fan of Smash Bros. in general, you'll have a great time with this one! The speed of this game makes the combos fairly easy to connect but pulling off 10 hit strings takes time to learn and that's a good thing! Even with the small roster, the depth the characters have makes you want to get better and grow.
