Aaaaaaa this game was so cute, I absolute loved it. Short, simple, sweet, and I definitely wish for more. Also the first game I've ever 100%'d achievement wise, I think. Eagerly looking forward to more of this cute little guy.

Brain Rot Galactic is my favorite game to just unwind and be a mindless moron. Space midgets blessed by alcoholism and cult like behavior operating heavy machinery and nuclear weapons is just the greatest.

100% recommend Pacific Drive, I had an absolute blast exploring the Olympic Exclusion Zone and learning about what happened to turn it into the beautiful hellhole it became. I do wish the story was longer, had a bit more meat to it, but that just leaves me yearning for more to discover and keeps me interested in the game world. If you enjoy Stalker/Fallout, Car Mechanic Simulator, and BeamNG Drive, this is a great game to try.

I used to love DBD. I really, truly did, from 2016 until now. When unemployed from Covid for the entirety of 2020 and most of 2021, I played it almost exclusively with my GF, and it was wonderful... but mostly because of her.
This game used to be something special, but BHVR has always done the absolute bare minimum, and now they aren't even doing that. The game is rampant with cheaters, hackers that can DDoS you, you basically HAVE to play the game through a VPN to be safe, it's been a buggy, barely functional mess for the entirety of the game's life, and after 5 years that's just not excusable anymore.
The devs now actively block people that speak negatively of them for their actions and lack thereof, and in the past they'd deny the 'coveted' Fog Whisperer status to people that supported and loved the game if they dared to speak negatively or criticize the game/BHVR. Now, they've gotten so petty as to remove cosmetics from the account of a well known and liked streamer of this game, all because he made a joke about them on twitter.
This game will never be worth playing again until BHVR straightens up and acts right, and they won't because this game has no competition. They found an exploitable niche concept that other games can't challenge because DBD's been building up a base of famous, well known characters to play as and against. I honestly wish I could get all the money back I've spent on this game. I regret having spent it, even though I did so when I loved the game and tolerated the BS that BHVR is so good at.

If you want a recommendation on something good to play, with good Devs that actually give half a damn about their players and the functionality of the game, check out Project Zomboid or Barotrauma. They're nothing like DBD, and The Indie Stone/Undertow Games are nothing like Behavior. That is honestly one of the highest compliments I can give to those two games and devs.

I've about had it with the tricks Bungie's been pulling when it comes to monetization. I play this game because my BF plays, and recently we've introduced a very dear friend to the game as a new light. Now sure, I understand not being able to bring her into DLC content unless she owns it, even if it is overpriced imo. But now she's gone and spent her money just so she can play more of the game with us, and yet she still can't do a majority of the things we want to do together because she ALSO has to purchase past season passes? It's asinine. Bungie's already gotten the money from the purchase of the DLC bundle, why do they have to gatekeep things like Presage and Hawkmoon, Battlegrounds and Splicer content behind past season passes, that you can ONLY purchase through the delux edition or whatever it's called. If those season passes are that damn necessary to play past content, they should've been included in the purchase of the DLC themselves, instead of separate. This is ridiculous.

I've been putting this off for a long time to try to think of the words to convey how I feel about Project Zomboid, and honestly, I think I'll still fall short. The game itself is phenomenal, even as an early access, it's quirky in a good way.

But the devs. I can not put into words how much I adore TheIndieStone team. To stick with this game long before I ever heard of it, from 2013 or even earlier to now, is amazing in it's own right. They're just... They're so passionate about their game, and the community its fostered. They interact with people on the reddit, the twitter posts, the forums, always happy to see new faces, and they're quick to jump on any issues, no matter how slight.

Just a few months back, someone posted on the reddit about how they experienced an incredibly rare bug that was long thought patched out, and within an hour or two, devs from TheIndieStone had responded, looked into, and were working on fully eliminating said bug, which caused the poster's untimely demise.

That is the kind of customer service you could never pay for, because they don't see you as customers, dollar signs. They practically see you as friends, enjoying something amazing that they've made.

I had a child named Orange Boy, a friend disconnected and died from brain death, so we fed her to Orange Boy so he'd grow big and strong. 10/10 would feed my friend to the mantis shrimp again.

Joking aside, I've been playing Barotrauma since ...V07.0.1. It's a fantastic game, where it's almost more fun to ♥♥♥♥ around and make the reactor go nuclear for the nth time, instead of actually doing the missions. But then you try to be serious, and have fun struggling through the missions as the sub is bombarded by hostile life, and whether you make it to a station or sink to the abyss, you had a great time. I happily bought this game before steam, and after, it was well worth it.

This was $20 well spent, a really fun puzzle game with a lot of intense action, and it's just SO fluid. It was so satisfying thinking outside the box, i.e. using the wreckage of a door or grate to obliterate the military enemies before they could hurt the biomass.
