If you can get the game working then LA Noire is an amazing game which takes the typical Rockstar format and merges it with the setting of 1940s LA. It can be too realistic at points with the vehicles feeling more like bathtubs on wheels leaving them hard to control. I would say that the worst part of this version is the implementation of the Rockstar Social Club which can be a nuisance to actually get working and is necessary for the game to run.

Ok so I'll start with the positives which I feel are definately the music and graphics. Every track is really good along with the remixes we get throughout the dlc. I love the animation style here as well as the fact every sprite has character. On to the negatives though which iss just two main points: The lack of Helth upgrades or healing and the stupid gem upgrade system. The lack of health upgrades leads to a lot of death since you can only heal from random heart drops. In regards to the gem upgrade sytem, its just as bad as in friends to the end if not worse. Every boss is designed to take a lot of damage but the more times you get hit the slower the boss becomes as your attacks lose strength and speed. I hope the gem upgrade system is not used again in anything shantae. However, overall I enjoy the pack but a few tweaks could've made it much better.

Albeit short Half Genie Hero is a very fun game which on the occasion can be rather challenging especially in Hard mode. However, the games difficulty is ruined when the game gives you downright invincibility with no down-sides near the end of the game which breaks the final boss in two. The game is around 5 hrs which is decent with more DLC on its way I feel I'll be returning to this game often.
