It's just another repainted cash grab game. Yeah 8 Euros might not be much, but honestly I don't believe we should support games like these.
The game is incredibly shallow and repetitive. Items sometimes work sometimes don't. There are no descriptions about the effects. Sometimes the game gives you 5 energy, but when you restart the battle it's suddenly 4 energy. Some items you can upgrade, some you can't and obviously there are no indication of which is it. Item upgrades are boring and in some cases downright meaningless.
There is meta progression, but honestly after stomping through the game in my 3rd run (first 2 runs were lost in 1st and 2nd room.) I didn't even feel like spending my meta currency.

All in all there is no more than a single run in this game. Even though there is meta progression it might as well not be there, because it's only there to pretend that the game has any replay-ability.

TL:DR: I suggest you get this game for free, get bored after 1 run and forget it ever existed. Don't support these hollow shell developers.

Ugh, this thing makes me pity all the workers that worked on it. Hard to imagine going to work each day knowing that all your effort and skill will be turned to crap by your game designer. <3018

I can't believe so many people appreciate this game. It's the worst strategy game I've ever seen. It's a confusing nonsense machine where nothing is intuitive. Worst UI design ever. So many nonsense choices that do who knows what. So many different meaningless choices and stats. It's like someone just slapped random ideas together without them having any connection or meaning. Waste of time.

Price point is a bit steep, but I like the DLC. Love the loot scarab the most. <3 01 8

So let me get this straight. Season Pass is 25$ and DLC content is 15$? It's also safe to assume that the games development has stopped.
