Everyone here is on crack. The armor isn't free, although the DLC itself is, and if you're on this page you already know that, so all the reviews raving about it free are redundant as hell.
Practically costs an arm and a leg for beginners armor. Costs a total of 1,635 crowns for the whole set, and you start the game with 250. Unlike some people, I didn't spend the first 3 hours playing grinding corpses and enemies the moment I started. Free dlc is free dlc, but it's not a cheap in game item if you want to access it immediately.

I've been banned from the forums and muted in the discord chat, for asking questions. They removed my discord kickstarter role as well. GG.

I paid 40 to the kick starter, and my role was removed when I questioned their decisions regarding another person's who's discord role was removed.

This game is a joke, and the staff are a mockery of what a helpful discord team should be. Don't bother buying it, it's gonna get removed for violating steam ToS anyways.

The game is a desert walking simulator rn with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ assets and probably gonna die.

I would definitely recommend this game in its current stages, and the changes of staff mean interacting with the devlopers of the community is no longer as painful as it was.


ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I might have recommended this game if it were still in it's newer stages, as odd as that sounds. Unfortunately, it's been updated a lot, and with every update it just seems to get worse. So I guess I should start from the beginning.

The Game:
The game does not emphasize player skill to get ahead and takes extremely long wait time. Your best choice is to literally afk for hours on end, occasionally grabbing a drink of water (if you can find it, I personally die before I find a safe place to camp due to no water within 100 clicks of your start point, and if I don't die of that, then I'll starve because I can go 2-3 hours of dying and respawning not to find a single other person/dino).The dev team do not plan on fixing this issue, in fact, say this is intended and will continue to get worse. But hey, the graphics are nice, and the mechanics are usually ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The Devs:
The developers are extremely immature and rude. Their unprofessional behavior is a good motivation to not join their test games or ask questions on the streams, and they often wonder why people don't join. They and some of the moderators will ban without reason or warning, troll, and attack players both on stream, in discord, and on the steam forums. There even used to be a list of the people on the forum of who they banned, made by DeathlyRage, and for what they were banned. Usually for asking "Stupid questions". The game is almost LITERALLY being created and run by cyber bullies.

The Lead Dev:
The lead developer, Dondi, is not capable of listening to the community feedback in any regard. He has deliberately gone against public feedback to troll the players. He cheats on stream by unlocking dinosaurs to skip his own progression gameplay entirely. He doesn’t take it seriously, which became very frustrating as a dedicated and involved player and member of the community. There's also a bunch of little ass kissers that if you say one bad word about Dondi, they'll swoop in and ♥♥♥♥ on your discussion, and you.

I've personally requested a refund, and will probably be banned from their discussions after them reading my review, tbh, and I expect it. I'm so done with this game, ha.
