I absolutely love this game to death

Terraria looked like a Minecraft clone way back in 2010 when I saw it for the first time. I had been watching videos of the newly released PC game on youtube and, although I did believe it to simply be 2D Minecraft with NPCs, really enjoyed what I saw. Little did I know what would come next. I didn't get a computer capable of video games like Terraria until I was a junior in high school, so I spent a lot of time on consoles. To my initial dismay, I found Terraria to be a PC-only game, that was, until Re-Logic announced it would be coming to the console I owned at the time, the PS3. I pestered my parents to pre-order it so I could finally get a taste of that sweet, sweet 2D Minecraft, and I waited patiently. That was the only time I have every waited so long for a video game. I ordered it some time in April of 2011, the game was fully released for PS3 on May the 11th, and shipping delays meant I received it in June of the same year. When it arrived at the post office nearby, my heart was racing. I had loved Minecraft, so I was prepared for a similar experience, but what I opened that afternoon was everything BUT 2D Minecraft.

Terraria is a vastly different experience. Yes, it has two identical core premises, building and mining, but what terraria lacks in literal depth, it makes up for in breadth. Terraria expands on the incredibly basic but fitting combat of Minecraft. Terraria introduces swords that swing in an arc, swords that stab in front of you, swords that shoot frikkin laser beams! There are a plethora of different classes available for play, almost all of them just as good as the last. Combat feels satisfying as hell! The progression feels very natural, although you can very easily skip over all of the basic ores because almost every single one of them can be mined with the starter pickaxe. The NPCs also help make the game, providing fun faces and personalities to interact with, all with a purpose. The visuals, even if just two-dimensional pixel art, are stunning for what they are. It's baffling to see the amount of detail that has gone into a sprite smaller than your pinky fingernail. The diversity of enemies and friendlies you will see in the world each time you spawn in always brings a smile to my face except for those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ modded enemies that can phase through walls like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm just trying to survive a blood moon can you piss off? The bosses as well, they're super fun to look at, fun to fight, and satisfying to kill. Each one fits its own place in the progression of the player, and they're all an integral part of the game. From the lowly Slime King to the Moon Lord, each one holds a special place in my heart. They're fun, fair, and charming, even if they're trying to kill you. The last point I'd like to make is about the music. It. Is. AMAZING While Minecraft has a soundtrack that relaxes you, Terraria has one that gets your blood pumping as soon as you spawn any boss. The ambient songs are beautiful, the boss tracks are head-bang worthy, and everything in between is incredible.

And that's all without mods!

I absolutely adore this game

Let me get this out of the way. The game is pretty basic. Incredibly linear story, zero options for meaningful side questing and character development outside of the main story, and it's honestly just a cutesy dark souls with the difficulty scaled WAY down. Despite this, I love it.

CODE VEIN is a game I enjoy with every fiber of my being. I may just be a sucker for anime girls tugging at my heartstrings, and I may not have truly experienced a true masterpiece before, but I love CODE VEIN. I find the story enthralling, even after playing the same sequences five or six times. Yes, call me any names you find fitting for liking the story, but I do. I may just be stuck in the loopy land of cliche stories and anime plot, but I love it. I also can't get enough of the memory fragments when you restore vestiges. Tugs my heartstrings in just the right way! I won't speak for the DLC, as I don't own them, but the base game on its own is, in my opinion, well worth the price tag. I've gotten so much enjoyment out of this game so far, and I have hardly tapped into all it has to offer. The gameplay, while not perfect, feels stellar. Combat is amazing! Although there are a few poorly designed enemies littered about, for the most part things are very balanced. It definitely isn't Dark Souls difficult, but it's not something someone can simply pick up. CODE VEIN IS kinda hard, most CERTAINLY not DS hard. I am not good at souls-likes, but CODE VEIN was easy enough for me to get through it without too much rage. The story definitely helped with this. Despite the difficulty, there are a few builds that are MUCH more powerful than others, which doesn't promote variety, diminishing the prospect of so many blood code options, almost forcing you to use certain ones if you want to have an enjoyable time or aren't very good. Personally, I mastered all of Prometheus, swapped to Dark Knight to get halberd skills, then finished with Queenslayer to use that sweet, sweet final journey.

I recommend this game to the weebs out there stuck in the same loopy land of loving cliche anime plots who want a great character creator, of which has taken way too many hours of my life, and solid gameplay, even if partners turn the game a LOT more casual. I still love the story, even with it's flaws. Yes, I know. Edgy vampire game gets me going. I'm not an edgelord, I'm a degenerate. I came here for the waifus, not the vampirism. This is just my own opinion, but I think the game has all its bases covered, and delivers a wonderfully fun experience!

Above all, even if nothing else tickles your fancy, the soundtrack slaps.

Halo: Reach to PC so far has been a wonderful experience
Perhaps it's just my computer performing much better than others, or perhaps my internet is much more responsive, but I haven't been experiencing ANY of the issues others are complaining about.
Input delay feels non-existent whenever I'm playing, even with uncapped framerates
The game is not stuttering at all
The audio has very rarely cut out or died, to the point where it's very surprising to hear said audio malfunctions
Controller aim-assist is hardly a problem if you know how to point a gun at the enemy with your mouse
The real issue with the port in others minds is that they've grown used to games running at unnecessary framerates of 240+, so they whine and moan when games don't perform optimally for them at said framerates.
I, personally, have had an incredible amount of fun with the PC Reach port, even though I'm complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at PvP and am breezing through the linear progression. ( Why the ♥♥♥♥ is everyone making such a big stink about it? It's really not that bad. What WAS bad was having certain pieces of gear appear to be unlockable but actually remain locked behind a rank that the game didn't notify you about. The pass system is better for everyone and is LEAGUES more approachable than the credit system, and appeals to a much wider audience. Halo elitists, you're not the only ones playing this game. )

If you're on the fence about purchasing the MCC, or just Reach on it's own, try it. If you don't like it, refund it. If you experience the issues that others are complaining about, try to troubleshoot or refund it if it's REALLY a problem. If you like it, keep it. Don't take the negative reviews as fact, because these issues, (input delay, stuttering, audio issues, etc...) seem to depend from system to system in my experience. You're not gonna know if you personally experience these issues by reading somebody ♥♥♥♥♥ in a steam review, so find out your situation and proceed from there.

Enjoy the hectic gameplay of RoR 1? RoR 2 offers it all in a 3D environment! Complete with new enemies and bosses, two new characters, and new items that will make you say "Why did they add this godforsaken lunar pod and why did it just take away all my health?"

Please add sniper

This game is great! It offers you the chance to not only create your own courses to share with the world, but also allows you to play those courses and more with your friends! Create inconcievable loops for your golf ball to traverse while only allowing a small number of shots, or create an enourmous jump and give everyone 30 chances to get it in one shot. My one gripe is that the game is insanely punishing. Flicked your mouse by accident? Your ball is in orbit. Hit the hole a LITTLE too fast? Your ball is now flying back to the beginning. You happened to reset at an innoportune moment? Your friend has now hit you into a worse firing position. Good luck not losing any sanity playing this game.

This game runs fine on Windows 10, DESPITE the negative reviews. People only give it bad reviews because they cant play it, but it is an incredible game. The graphics are quite outdated, as expected from a 2010 game, but the story is quite arguably the greatest in the Fallout series.

At times EXTREMELY difficult to navigate, as it is extremely non-linear, but still a very well crafted game
