This game is solid. 10/10 you should play if only for the campaigns and to support Bethesda.

The devs are doing a great job with the updates and the roadmap. This game is very casual but also super deep if you want it to be. Honestly, 10/10. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. I am a huge fan of it cause I can play it while working. Just let my peeps do their thing.

Excellent game. The community is strong, please see the discussions, you'll learn a bunch. This game is definitely chill but for me, I play it in such a way that EVERYTHING you do is dangerous. See, there are no monsters. The PLANET is the monster. You have to manage air, food, and water bars to not die. I recommend playing this on hard-core mode. Yes, if you die your save is over, but why this is important is that you have this giant planet. You have to terraform it. It's a LONG journey. If you view this as do task A then B then C you'll slow burn yourself. So, hard-core mode. The VERY ACT of surviving is challenge enough. Which is realistic. THEN you begin to learn how to change the planet. Oh AND exploring? Psh, you better plan that junk. But the real gem is when you make your own food, got your own water, and have a key base. All of that struggle, not cheapened by dying millions of times with no consequences, has molded you into the ultimate survivor. Just saying, you can play that way or in a more relaxing mode and just work work work. Either way, these two guys made a great game and it's only gonna get better. Invest in this, it's an amazing survival game and it's the only one that gives you PLANETARY results! That epic! You can see the effects of your work like lakes, trees, insects, an ATMOSPHERE. So worth the effort. BUY THIS.

It's nothing special but they did a great job with the execution of gameplay and graphics. You walk in, grab your favorite characters from different anime series, and beat the crap outta folks. What more could you want? Its even got a story and you can make your own character! Simple, easy, fun, good.

Must......Build......More.......

Edit* So, 200+ hours later, this game is STILL fun. The updates are great and whats awesome is that, for me at least, this is a mood game. I'll leave for a month after going HAM on some factories, and BAAM, I'm back into again. All of the building and stuff gets overwhelming sometimes, but this game really is infinitely replayable. I tend to restart after reaching tier 7, just cause, but now I'm going to go all the way. But restarting is a great way to establish your efficiency techniques so that in your next run through your hitting tier 6 in 40 hours and not 60 or 70. Buy this!

The revamped tech tree is great as well as average gameplay. For me, I have dealt with extensive bugs, but no worries I keep a page on their site to keep up with all of them. I feel if they can fix these bugs, fix diplomacy because it makes no sense, and add some features to make combat less of a stack war and more of a strategy war it would be better. It's early access so I am not complaining!

With regards to diplomacy the A.I practically hates you unless you give them all your stuff and doesn't work with you at all. When I give you 112 Hyperium and you say no to at least 200 Dust where I can get 1.1K on the market is ridiculous. Obviously it is based on your relations to them but even at peace with the freaking LUMERIS they say no. Those guys (and gals) love them some commerce.

There needs to be a way to secure the nodes to each system at least if certain parameters are met. This would require ships coming in to sacrifice some of their "stack" to actually get to the can of whoop butt.

Now, as far as positives go. Man, this game can rope you in with the wide variety of play styles. You like to be a vicious church goer and have mobile Arks that essentially give you mobile planets...done. Then you take those behemoths and tramp anyone near you....done. You like researching every technology by turn 85...done. Then spend alot of time focusing on improving planets to the top or outfitting your ships with the best of everything...done. The list goes on and you can essentially have any playstyle with any race as well. You define you.

One always loves the dynamics of a beautiful solar system, how they are connected, their frequency, and so on. This game makes Coruscant look demure. Now, while none of the planets are as beautiful as Alderaan....was....the surrounding galaxy and way it all meshes is just streamlined and appealing. Wish we had some nebulas and such to define systems but hey, its EARLY FREAKING ACCESS. Let the guys work, they sure do listen. TALK TO EM! They ain't got the Force daggumit. If you want a look at what the game WILL be, go on to their website and look at how involved they are, its serious man (woman). Please feel free to comment to know more I will FREAKING HAPPILY explain delicious gameplay to you to inspire you spend yo hard earned monay.
