The game is super fun, especially for the price. It's just missing some quality of life features.

- ADD CROUCH JUMPING, PLEASE. Having a double jump but not being able to jump onto a small shelf makes me so sad. As of right now you can only crouch if your feet touch something.

- The game really needs at least a setting to have an overall quota for at least two days, instead of a single day quota.
As so far my biggest issue is I got soft-locked were my duo was killed, and I couldn't carry any of the only remaining items as they were too heavy. So I had to eventually just Self-Destruct and restart.

I hope this game gets updates because it has so much potential.
Things like-
- Being able to buy decorative props and lights to place around the extract.
- Lasting player customization like hats that can be earned and carried over to other matches.
- On top of new zones, items with effects and new creatures.
I'm so excited to see more. Highly Recommend giving it a try.

A buggy, clunky, bare-bones mess with an extremely interesting concept and art direction.
That is all it has, the concept.

Let this game cook more, DO NOT BUY IT, and watch it closely as it could turn out to be an amazing game or just end up a trash fire.

Not even including the heavily predatory water system that forces the player long term for a Singleplayer/Co-op game to get roped back into playing or else their entire progress gets deleted. It's only a negative "feature" for all players and a cheap way to keep player retention.

If you have played Tarkov imagine your entire progress with the vendors and your inventory being wiped if the generator in your hideout stops running. And it isn't just when Forever Winter is open, the issue is it drains when your game is closed.
Forcing players who aren't chronically online, have sporadic playtime's or pick up then leave for a month or a few to be punished with an account wipe.

A truly amazing game, one of the best extraction shooters out there with the right balence of gear loss but never losing too much.
The overhaul with the graphical improvements has been amazing.
But
Jesus christ the game is unstable, both my partner and I crash nearly every single game not exadurating. The game just locks up.
And the UI, I don't really know what else needs to be said. It's like they looked at COD Warzone's UI and copied it, it's truly horrific.
I won't be doing the mindless dislike bombing like all the others because the game itself is truly amazing, it just has some pretty annoying issues right now.

BO6 -
The spawns are utter garbage.
And the maps are just copy paste Shipment for nearly every single one.
If these two issues were fixed with some goofy weapon choice added to the mix I'd recommend this game.
But the spawns alone ruin a ton of the enjoyment when people in the kill-feed have their spawn animation from behind you.

One of the best Colony Survival games I've played.

MULTIPLAYER (Via Steam Workshop) Which works amazingly.
(I use "Rimworld Multiplayer" under most popular)
Consistently amazing free updates packed with a fresh new game-changing DLC each time.
The DLC either Builds on your Vanilla experience like Ideology or downright changes it drastically such as the new Anomaly DLC which adds a new SCP'esc Horror angle to the game.
Truly an amazing game that I highly recommend.

Love the game, amazing building system, great visuals too. Combat is alright but removing limbs is only possible when the enemy is dead so that removes a layer of possible combat encounters differing from others.

But my one main issue, why the hell isn't there player model choice for Multiplayer?
And why aren't there any women player models to choose from?
Genuinely there isn't a single reason behind this decision to give less choice to the player, you get randomized by 5 other men models just add some women as options and give the player choice.
The game isn't a character based story so you're locked into a guys story, soooo why??

Don't EVER Buy this game without it being on sale. It's an alright game for 10 dollars and nothing more.
It has the lovely benefit too of being an optimization mess. 4060 Ti and the game is extremely inconsistent

I was worried the gameplay loop would be overly repetitive but I was very wrong, and dear god is it so fun.

It has a proper story with a real person actively crafting the story exactly like a Dungeon Master from DnD, forming a story around the planets you lose and conquer ever changing to the actions of the playerbase's accomplishments and failures.

And the gameplay feel- I cant express it enough how fluid the game is, while making nearly every single moment in the game feel like you've been transported into a Michael Bay film.

Please at the very least give the game a try and refund if needed as playing the game truly flipped all my opinions and worrys of it being repetitive or boring or a clone of starship troopers.

Post recoil update coming back to this game I feel like a child trying to hold these guns with how much they shake even when you're laying down.
Why the hell after the push back did they STILL keep this update.
Out of touch Devs killing their own game.

- A Great Game EXCEPT -
The child of Battlefield and Squad with a Tear-down feel and art style.

An absolute blast to play, but with One Issue that can be solved very easily.
The Wiggling, if you've played Rainbow 6 you know the "R6 Wiggle" and this game has it but at even faster speeds.

- If you are unaware of the R6 Wiggle-
(It is when you use the Lean Left and Lean Right more than likely on a auto clicker toggle to as fast as possible lean side to side whipping your head and lower body left and right to dodge bullets.)
- The Simple Fix -
Add a delay between leans, it can't be a ramping delay with each lean you lean slower because they'll just peak, wiggle, hide, and repeat. A solid lean delay between each press or a slowed animation must be put in place as the player-base is gradually being more and more diluted by a cesspool of players leaking into the game.

As I see it now, this game has a Shelf Life without this patch being put into place to remove the R6 wiggle.

As of right now you can't touch the game on late hours of the night/early morning due to players that play during that time being mostly those types.

The only thing I can hope for is the devs listen to the player-base and complaints about this feature and not favor the minority of disgusting sweats that came from R6.
I'll be dropping the game in a few weeks if not, as by then the player-base will make it impossible to play the game without joining in on the R6 wiggle meta.
