I'm refunding this game until they allow me to play with my friends.

EDIT: They allowed me to wipe my account, and I thoroughly enjoyed the game through my quests. If you want to support the Dev team go for it because this game has great potential, but if you want a complete game I would give it a little bit. Although the game feels and plays great there are a lot of things coming to the game that I very much look forward to.

Good game, good devs, great potential to make something that can compete with Tarkov. Keep it up.

I'm not being that guy, but how the ♥♥♥♥ is this laggy ass game at the top? All they want is money, they don't care about optimization or lag or even bugs. Hell I don't even know the last time they fixed a bug that ruined the game. I'm killing over and over to bad loot spawns and d-sync, even shroud is comtemplating quiting this game until they fix everything, but they don't, and they won't, because they don't care. This game is far from a full release, and the port that they are doing to xbox isn't gonna be any good. This game has poor potential and will be dead in less than a year at this rate. I mean honestly, if I drop at a 2 story building, I find a pistol and the person who dropped at a small shack that's 2 feet wide gets an ak? This game is literal garbage, and if you already have it, I feel bad for you and the 30 bucks you accidentally wasted because someone told you that it was a good game

At the time of this review, I have put in about 503 hours into this game. The first thing I will say is that this game is the best game I have ever played in my life. If you're the survival type person, then this is the best game for you. Dayz might be fun but I can honestly say it doesn't compare to rust. I have played this game so much, and I have not said one time "you know what? I should take a break from this game for a while". I will warn you though....it's addicting. This is the best investment of 20 dollars into a game. There is an update every week, either fixing tweeks or adding things. The devs actually care about the game and not the money. Of course they want the money, but they care about their players and what they want. Such as the crossbow nerf, where they unerfed it because the community was in outrage. There are a lot of things coming to this game in the future, and it's gonna be worked on for a while. I highly suggest this game. There is a lot of rage involved and saltiness, but it's overall a great game. One more thing....If you're tired of clans and hate them for all eternety, you're with the rest of us. Just shut your mouth and deal with it, anything the devs do to help smaller groups will help clans, so it's not use. You're probably just gonna make the devs add something stupid to the game because "It's what you want". If you read this and still do it you disgust me. ( Game was given to me by a friend, but I would invest 60$ into this game if I had to buy it )

This game is open world and has changed a lot since the beginning in a very good way. I love purifying my own water and hunting and cooking. Since there are so many pros, I will only say the cons

Cons are:
People KOS on pvp - Even though pvp is for player killing other players, there is just way too much of it. You never know where the people are and they get ammo for guns and kill you before you even see them. But that does make it to where you are more careful, however it makes me mad, so in a way it is kind of a pro, but more a con.

Deer AI needs some working on - The deer AI away from you is fine. When they spot you is when it sucks. They can see you at every angle you are at, so you have to shoot from far away. You can't sneak up close to them, it doesn't work. You can make some deer scent, but that only lets you get a little bit closer. They are hard to chase down and kill because the run, stop, run, stop, and you can't hit them. I guess it makes it a little more challenging but deer are like the top priority near the begginning.

Overall this game is a great game, I have put 11 hours into it and I got the game a couple days ago. I rate this game 8/10. If you get this game, there are some bugs of course, and that is why I posted the cons of this review, so at least one of them could be worked on. If you wanna play with me after you get the game (if you get it) come and play with me, people could use some help in this world, because life isn't easy anymore.

Note after split: Do not purchase this game. I thought it was good. I thought they were going to improve. I thought it was soon going to be free to play. Nope. It's just a cash grab. These people are nothing but dirty filthy liars that just want money. They probably never wanted free to play. If you haven't purchased the game, they are making you pay double for an EARLY ACCESS GAME. I am so done with daybreak. If you already have the game, great, play it, it's fun, but if you haven't purchased it, DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES!

THIS GAME IS PROBABLY THE BEST GAME EVER!!!! I love this game, especially playing as the shark. Even playing as the diver is fun. One of my favorite parts about this game is playing as the megaladon in the megaladon hunt. Even though they are under water, they have found a good selection of weapons to put in this game. I definitly recommend this game!
