The first one was good, this one not as good, but not bad, but also not enjoyable

I never enjoy playing western RPG before. If it's RPG, it has to be JRPG, but this game, man, it's so good.
The story is short, straight forward, kinda feels like a complimentary for this game, but it's there and it's good.
Lots of variety on how you could play the game, the mechanics not limetless, but you can always experiment.
It's a good game.

This game in particular is excellent, solid all aroud, but I can't recommend this version. The base game feels too simplistic. Go somewhere, scavenge, buy upgrade, that's it. You can get better game with complete edition pack, which in my opinion the dlc (final cut expansion) offers better gameplay experience. Things you'll find in final cut but not in original cut: route selection in campaign mode, endless mode, and unlockables.

In short: buy the complete edition if you want this game

Edit: There is endless mode in this version of the game, I'm an idiot. Therefore, I change my recommendation. Still, the complete edition pack is a better, how do you say it, bang for the buck?

I don't know what kind of game this is, but is good, I like it

This game is really good, not something I expected from a game with such low price. It's somewhat feels like Cave Story and Megaman and NES Castlevania, it means it got good control, difficult platforming, also interesting enemies and bosses. At other side though is somewhat weird in the level design because I don't expect a pit in a metroidvania game. My main complaint(s) is there is no map system, and the controller support is somewhat lacking. It's a good game .

I expect this was a FF Tactics clone, but it wasn't, but overall a good game

I've been playing this game for a few days now, after 4 month not playing it.
