I thought Dying Light 2 was getting better and for a time, it was even though it had a rocky start.

Then Techland got bought out by Tencent. Now it has micro-transactions, for a PvE single-player/co-op game that costs $60 on average,

This is just another slap to the face after seeing how much DL2 got downgraded, most of the promises shown early were never fulfilled, and the "Bloody Ties" DLC was subpar. I'll probably still keep playing this game because a good friend of mine gifted it for my birthday but otherwise, I strongly recommend to stay away from DL2 and anything related to Tencent.

It's clear where the direction of this game is headed and it's sad.

The developers went woke.

Then resorted to abuse their power by banning countless other users when it wasn't received well.

Stating your political alignment is one thing but threatening users with bans is another. This is why developers should NOT use their games as political tools.

EDIT: Also another note to consider is if this is the developer's response to criticism, then there's no way Ark 2 will be fixed and improved on if they will ignore player feedback. Therefore, I have put Ark 2 on my ignore list.

Overall, this DLC was disappointing and not worth the $10 price tag. It had a strong start but it let me down pretty fast.

Upon being introduced to the antagonist, it just devolves into timed challenges that are no different from the base game's parkour and combat challenges. It still wasn't that disappointing to me however.

After finishing them (which luckily only required to finish at bronze level but I did silver), then I was finally brought to the arena. Again, more time challenges but in different settings. It got old fast and upon finishing the last one, I was glad.

As for the story, people say the main story was bad. The DLC was even worse. It is unlikely you will get attached to the characters for long. Then came the ending. I became the champion and after a black screen, it was over. That's it. You don't ever know what happens to most of the characters, the fate of Carnage Hall, or what Aiden will do after beating it. It's really bad writing that leaves unsolved questions and doesn't tie up loose ends.

The worst side quest was being forced to feel bad you beat a woman in a challenge when an NPC wanted you to lose. It even has a feminist/sexist tone that bashes males with a BS political narrative that doesn't belong in gaming.

The rewards weren't that great either. The melee weapons from this DLC you get from a vendor are just okay but the base game is likely to offer better weapons and gear. The shield glove (Carnage Manica) isn't that great as you have to keep performing perfect blocks for you to use its abilities unlike Skullface who kept on spamming powerful attacks with it in the final boss fight . By that time, it's probably better to slice and dice your enemies faster with better weapons.

The weakest parts were the exploration and replayability. There's only the arena in which the interior doesn't offer much exploration alongside with the outside areas. There is an underground transit area but there's no reason to go back there. Finally, once you beat the challenges a few times, you don't want to do them again.

Get this DLC when it's at a steep discount (around 5 to 6 dollars). You're not missing out too much.

*Started the game with gray weapons*
*Dies to players who have green mandicore rifles*

*Stills plays the game while struggling with gray weapons*
*Dies to players who have blue and violet weapons*

10/10 Would keep playing a game that I have no chance in ever getting good stuff because I keep dying to players who have good stuff

No one to play with, even when asking for people to play with on the forums, and it's extremely boring to play solo. If you don't have a clan or friends at the bare minimum, don't bother with Rust.

If you want an online game where you can cheat and grief other people without any ban, then this is the game for you.

Rockstar gives zero f*cks in stopping cheaters from blowing people up, teleporting people around, spawning invincible NPCs, and much more. I can't play the game anymore without something like that happen almost every time I played RDO and changing sessions did nothing. Reporting them also does nothing because it's impossible to and Rockstar doesn't care.

They care so little for the game in fact that they don't update the game anymore with good content. The last time they bothered, players got some free tan pants for doing some legendary bounty missions. Those pants aren't even a timed exclusive as they're in the game by default.

It used to be fun playing with friends in this game but the golden era of RDO is long over. There's NO point in playing this game anymore. It's dead. Do NOT get Red Dead Online or even bother playing.

No one watches my streams on Twitch but it's whatever. OBS on Steam launches more properly and has better updates than the program without Steam so I'll give them that.

I can't even boot up Planet Zoo thanks to Denuvo. The first try, the game made my PC freeze and forced a restart. Then every attempt to start up the game was met with failure.

I tried every fix I found online in order to launch the game but nothing worked. Since Steam kept on recording the time on every attempt to start up the game, I had to request a full refund to ensure I wouldn't be stuck with a broken game.

This was the first and probably the last game I'll get that has Denuvo in it. Just don't get games that have such a terrible DRM system. Please don't.

Generation Zero looks graphically beautiful and the gun-play is solid, but that's about it. The game is very boring to play as all you do is shoot robots, go here to complete an objective or scavenge, shoot more robots, and repeat all that.

It's almost hard to believe how much Generation Zero was hyped all for nothing.
