Pure ludokinography from start to finish. I loved Metal Gear Solid and the whole mystique around Kojima, but even despite that this is a game that stands out. Couldn't put it down, nothing else quite like it and the story is superb and really makes one think, especially given the current state of the world and its decline.

Pure kino. A must play.

Don't listen to the people saying "its too hard" honestly once you get the hang of it, the game is actually very relaxing to play. DO NOT miss the chance to play dark souls because you listened to some crybaby.

This game is great and highly recommended to srpg fans, especially fire emblem fans. Only issue for me is the translation. The devs really should have hired a localization group with native english speakers on board.

This is one of the hardest srpgs ive played and one of the most rewarding. There are newer remasters out there with high res sprites, so if you buy this i'd highly recommend installing the community mods that bring those sprites to PC

The VC series really is a treasure and a unique series. Nothing quite like it. If youre new to it you could start with 1 or with 4 and have an amazing time but 4 really has some nice QoL improvements. I went in blind and had no idea about some of the awesome dlc characters and fanservice that can be unlocked. Kino!

Lots of irreverent and politically incorrect humor with good gameplay and a vast town to explore. Has a distinctly late 90s feel to it

Better than Kiwami 1 overall, gameplay better than Yakuza 0 (but Yakuza 0's storyline is better). If you liked Kiwami 1, you'll LOVE Kiwami 2.
