I bought this game legitimately with some of the last money I got working before the pandemic, and I'm so glad I did, I saw all the rave reviews, and couldn't help myself but wonder what the buzz was about, I've heard of DOOM, especially DOOM 2016, I almost considered buying the game but my lack of good hardware, and money kept me from it.

This year I had a bit of cash, and a brand new gaming laptop, so I took this as an opportunity to enjoy something that I feel like I wasn't going to be able to enjoy again for a long time, and DOOM Eternal was that exact cutting edge game that set itself apart from all FPS, not just in it's graphics but it's mechanics, how you play the game and experience was, so much fun!

The first place I was able to move was a Hell on Earth, literally screen shaking and fire burning, and humans turned demons sitting in front of me, I was literally a little aprehensive to move because I haven't played a campaign oriented game in so long, games like Super Mario Sunshine where you spend your cash not on the multi-player or Online Features, but the story of the game, and someone not knowing anything about the LORE of DOOM, I had an absolute blast to stop and read and find all the codex entries around the game to be further invested in the Story, and jesus it was entertaining, especially I LOVE THIS GAME AND THAT AT THE END IT GIVES YOU A REWARD FOR PAYING ATTENTION.

That was one of the moments that gave me goosebumps, damn it was so much fun wrecking horde after horde of demons, because like Lead Developers Hugo Martin said, the "Doom Dance" is really what this game also teaches you, and after hours of landing these sick shots with all the Guns you can upgrade, your armor upgrades, and some ability upgrades, and some permanent upgrades you earn as you complete the game that you normally can't get otherwise come together to make a really 10/10 Video Game. It's perfectly minted for the mind of a try hard casual like me who tried to the game on Nightmare and with few setbacks I had so much fun beating the Hell out of this game.
