Goat thighs save lives, and this game is my demise. In the BEST way.

Pseudoregalia is a 3D metroidvania-styled platformer made by Rittzler, an Indie developer who's worked on various 3D platformers, which can be found on his Itch.io page here: https://rittzler.itch.io/

3D Platformers like Death Roll Frenzy, Blazing Dynamo, Strato-Spear, Radical Avalanche and Devi and the Mist of Loosejaw. All of which I highly enoucrage everyone to try out. This dude KNOWS how to make fun and addicting platformers.

Onto the review:

Graphics: 9/10

These beautifully handcrafted low-poly PSX styled graphics are amazing. Every room, easter egg, world and model is wonderfully tailored to the overall aesthetic of the game.

Gameplay: 9.5/10

GOD I love how this game feels. It's like if Mario 64 meets Metroid, a fun and addicting platforming experience that stands the test of time. Also I find it funny as ♥♥♥♥ that you can put pants on the goat woman as an accessibility feature. The main character has some outfits you can unlock, alongside new abilities that give you more methods of tackling puzzles and platforming sections. The mobility goes insane, from wallkicking, wallriding, super jumping and long jumps to sliding and more, this game epmhasizes the importance of player expression through movement, and I'm ALL for it.

Story: 7/10 You play as a goat lady who lost her name. The story won't affect the game's overall rating, it doesn't really speak to me, but those thighs do.

Music: 9/10

Every level's composition suits the world's visuals and I appreciate it. From entering a dungeon to a library, the selection is fitting.

Overall: 9.5/10

A very fun bite-sized game catered to those who LOVE a great 3D platformer or a great time. And it's only asking for $7 CAD? Killer price, killer game, BUY IT!! I hope Rittzler releases more 3D platformers in the future.
