From the same people who brought you some of the BEST arcade racers ever, comes the most..... Painfully average kart racer infused with the Battle Royale trend and formula. Seriously, this ♥♥♥♥ is boring. It's mid. Which is EXTRA infuriating cause these are the same masterminds who brought you Outrun 2, GTI Club, Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing and Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed. I'm NO stranger to the arcade racing genre, let alone racing in general, it's one of my favourite genres of all time! Every single game I listed that Sumo Digital is best known for, I'm one of the BIGGEST fans of. God bless Outrun 2 and the Sonic and All-Stars racing series. If anything I wish this game was better, but that's asking for a LOT in this day and age it seems. I wish the battle royale formula would just die already so companies can stop pushing these garbage practices and losing a ton of money for throwing in massive multiplayer ONLINE ONLY games that either end up being gold or ♥♥♥♥. I lost what I loved, which was Rumbleverse, and now I'm never going to see that game again in any capacity or any form of playability. This game will suffer the same fate, I can already sense it. And don't even THINK they'll make the game playable offline, it IS a battle royale after all. ;)

Overall: 3/10 Painfully average in every single aspect of this game possible, from its gameplay to its presentation, the game deserves nothing more than a shut down. Granted it's a free-to-play game, obviously I shouldn't complain about it, right? This game will have NO affect on not only the company, but the industry whatsoever! ;D Sumo Digital, please, for the love of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOD, give us a Sumo Digital collection with some of the best arcade racers on the market. Give us Outrun 2 Coast 2 Coast on Steam. Give us something memorable, fun, replayable or enjoyable. GIVE. US. SOMETHING. FUN!!!!

I'm so, beyond, THRILLED for this year in video games. This is a GREAT year for racing game fans that have yearned for great, fun, addicting and replayable arcade racers, such as myself! Seeing arcade racing return by people who have dreamed and loved the legacy it left behind is truly a beautiful sight, as racing games have been on the decline over the past 3-4 years (thanks AAA industry -_-). Thankfully, the genre is far from over, with the help and power of the Indie scene.

From Walaber, creator of the Jelly Car series, Pro Gymnast Simulator, Very Very Valet and lead designer of Disney's Where's My Water comes Parking Garage Rally Circuit! A retro-styled arcade racing love letter to the first generation of 3D video game consoles, more precisely the Sega Saturn.

Gameplay: 10/10 Simple yet effective, PGRC emphasizes the importance of drifting, speed and precision to achieve the best times! A key mechanic you'll probably notice after a race or two is stacking boosts. The more you drift, the more boost you build, AND as long as you keep drifting after each boost, the higher your top speed gets. Do keep in mind, it'll get to a point where you go TOO fast. The handling is incredible, very arcade-like. Never sluggish or slow, always very fast, replayable and rewarding. The biggest identifier for the game is being able to race in... Parking garages? It sounds odd, but trust me when I say, it's such a unique layer of design for a racing game. Turning every-day parking spaces for malls, parkades and other parking lots into a circuit for rally cars sounds so interesting as an idea.

Graphics: 10/10 A very meticulously-handcrafted visual aesthetic I absolutely love. PGRC aims for the visual style and polygonal sharpness of the Sega Saturn, and it does this beautifully. The dude even includes additional graphical options from CRT lines to rendering distance and hardware accuracy. It's incredible the lengths Walaber went to make sure the game's aesthetic is nailed down.

Music: 9/10 I'll be honest, Ska is a pretty fitting genre for a game with this type of flair. The music is very good, on the account of a VERY small handful of songs I'm not the biggest fan of, but hey, that's more-so a me thing. I do wish were given the option to implement our own music into the game sometimes, and I mean that with zero disrespect to the musicians involved in the game's OST

Content and Features: 6/10 The game is pretty bite sized all things considered. Of course, this might change in the future, in hoping that it does, with the potential opportunity of making more tracks, cars, modes and mods in mind. The game comes with 8 courses (with cheats 10) across 3 vehicles (7 with cheats) and a fun set of cheat codes. I would LOVE to see more parking garages, lots and spaces based on Canada. I know the idea of making more tracks might be on the table after split-screen multiplayer comes out, so I hope that we do get more content over time. This game took an hour and a half to beat.

Verdict: 8/10 With fast-paced arcade racing gameplay, nostalgic graphics and a fly (heh) soundtrack, Parking Garage Rally Circuit deserves a top 5 spot on my list of all time favourite racing games. All of this for $9 US!? Absolutely worth it. Please support Walaber, this game feels like only the beginning of a fun, tire-burning experience waiting to unfold!

If Nintendo won't make another F-Zero game, WE will! This is a sentence I've come to terms with over the years. Seeing Nintendo barely touch an IP that they own and never innovate or resurrect it in any meaningful form hurts my soul. But if there's anyone I can trust, it's the Indie scene. I'm one of the backers for this game.

Aero-GPX is an anti-gravity arcade racer created by indie developer, Aaron McDevitt. Boy, where do I begin?

Gameplay: 9/10 The anti-gravity formula mastered to a T!! Tight, precise, speedy, rewarding and beyond a thrill! If you've ever played any of the F-Zero games, you'll feel RIGHT at home with this game. If you're someone who's new to Anti-Gravity racers, this is the perfect game to get into. Aero GPX includes a unique feature I haven't seen in any racing game, and I love it so much: Drill Diving. So in Anti-Gravity racers, you're wielding both a racing vehicle and a high speed aircraft, thus being able to maintain full control of both the ground and the air. Aero GPX takes advantage of the air state by introducing the ability to drill dive, which lets you dive straight down, gaining more speed the higher you dive from air to ground. I LOVE this mechanic, it gives me the extra thrill I sense for in high-speed anti-gravity racers. I hope more games take note of this mechanic. As of this review, it's in early access, which is perfectly fine. So not everything is set-in-stone for the game's post release content. As of now there's a healthy handful of courses, but I look forward to seeing more in the future. I just wish this game had multiplayer in some capacity, whether it'd be splitscreen or online. If this was possible, I'd give this game an EASY 10/10, but for now, 9 will suffice. It's definitely high up there for one of the greatest racing games ever, but the lack of multiplayer knocks it down to a 9 and not a 10.

Graphics: 9/10 very beautiful aesthetic overall. The atmosphere, cars, pilots and UI all compliment each other without being too polarizing. The cell-shaded style is very nice here.

Story: Won't affect the rating. I know F-Zero had a plot back in GX, but to be honest, I don't think many people really care that much for plot in racing games that much, don't quote me on that.

Music: 10/10 High-speed aggressive rock, absolutely LOVE it. From the strings of Myrone, an LA based guitarist, producer and composer, the OST to this game kicks ass and blows away non-believers! Metal, hard-hitting and rapid fire music, melting the audience's face! The entire OST is incredible!

Overall: 9/10 Blistering speeds, addicting gameplay, beautifully-executed graphics and kick ass music, Aero GPX is THE Anti-Gravity racer I recommend you pick up, full price or on sale.

My provider won't tell me how these potatoes have become sentient. If you want his contact info, his name is Tony Starch. I couldn't get much out of him other than that.

Goat thighs save lives, and this game is my demise. In the BEST way.

Pseudoregalia is a 3D metroidvania-styled platformer made by Rittzler, an Indie developer who's worked on various 3D platformers, which can be found on his Itch.io page here: https://rittzler.itch.io/

3D Platformers like Death Roll Frenzy, Blazing Dynamo, Strato-Spear, Radical Avalanche and Devi and the Mist of Loosejaw. All of which I highly enoucrage everyone to try out. This dude KNOWS how to make fun and addicting platformers.

Onto the review:

Graphics: 9/10

These beautifully handcrafted low-poly PSX styled graphics are amazing. Every room, easter egg, world and model is wonderfully tailored to the overall aesthetic of the game.

Gameplay: 9.5/10

GOD I love how this game feels. It's like if Mario 64 meets Metroid, a fun and addicting platforming experience that stands the test of time. Also I find it funny as ♥♥♥♥ that you can put pants on the goat woman as an accessibility feature. The main character has some outfits you can unlock, alongside new abilities that give you more methods of tackling puzzles and platforming sections. The mobility goes insane, from wallkicking, wallriding, super jumping and long jumps to sliding and more, this game epmhasizes the importance of player expression through movement, and I'm ALL for it.

Story: 7/10 You play as a goat lady who lost her name. The story won't affect the game's overall rating, it doesn't really speak to me, but those thighs do.

Music: 9/10

Every level's composition suits the world's visuals and I appreciate it. From entering a dungeon to a library, the selection is fitting.

Overall: 9.5/10

A very fun bite-sized game catered to those who LOVE a great 3D platformer or a great time. And it's only asking for $7 CAD? Killer price, killer game, BUY IT!! I hope Rittzler releases more 3D platformers in the future.

Leave it to WB and Player First Games to make the worst feeling platform fighter EVER. Congratulations, you somehow PURPOSEFULLY made a game feel worse than Brawlhalla. 0 tech, slower than brawl gameplay, 0 balance, infinites that you cannot escape, awful micro-transaction practices, removed features compared to previous launch, vanished cosmetics, and the potential for competitive Multiversus will NEVER exist. But of course, being WB, they'll push the game onto e-sports player's throats and force them to enjoy it. I'm putting my foot down on this one folks. Multiversus deserves to be dead.

Early Access Review
As someone who's been playing the old SEGA Rally games, mainly 1 and 2 arcade versions, this is the closest we will get to either of them on Steam.

In its current state, I'd suggest buying this game on sale. This game is pretty great, as an arcade rally racer it stands up solidly. The handling on off-terrain surfaces like dirt, snow, sand etc have gotten better since release. Same with the brakes and handling, it's gotten much better.

The playground mode has gotten much better now that the grip has improved. Music is alright, gets the job done. Bless the developer for including a custom music feature, one of the best inclusions imo. Graphics have gotten better. The screenshots are severely outdated, and the game has gotten a serious glow-up since first release, and I'm loving how it looks and feels now. The other amazing thing about this game is that the main developer is genuinely open to feedback. I've been in contact with the developer for a little while, with various things like bug finding, handling modules and course feedback. Ever since then, he has made great improvements to this game.

This game has come a long way since it first began. From the great graphics to its faithful and thrilling arcade racing gameplay, THIS is the closest we will get to a good SEGA Rally feeling game on Steam in ANY capacity.

Back on my Roguelike grind again, but on a game I didn't think I'd be playing that much. I love DOOM (old and new), and I sure as hell LOVE roguelikes, so I had to give it a shot.

Roboquest is a fast-paced FPS Roguelike developed by RyseUp Studios and published by Starbreeze Publishing.

Graphics: 9/10

Lovely cell-shaded Borderlands-like graphics with a lovely variety of landscapes. Such well done visuals and designs., I love it.

Gameplay: 9/10

I expected this to be another boring clone of Gunfire Reborn, but much to my surprise, it feels, dare I say better than Gunfire Reborn. It's a fast-paced looter shooter roguelike where every movement feels so smooth, mechanics are lovely, and the gadgets make the game feel even better than before. With a vast array of weapons, healthy selection of upgrades, gadgets and an addicting game loop, this kept me on for longer than I initially thought. One of the reasons this isn't a 10 out of 10 is cause it doesn't have as much content as Gunfire, but it definitely feels MUCH better. It lacks other modes, but you can play by yourself or with friends A.K.A Brobots. Another point taker is that it doesn't have support for up to 4 players online, which sucks cause I feel like having 4 players is essential to a fun, replayable Roguelike experience if you're bringing multiple people on board. But I understand.

Story: ?/10 doesn't really speak to me, but it won't affect the game's rating.

Music: 8/10

Love the dubstep-like soundtrack, each theme fits with the tone of each level. Fitting for a bot, but most importantly, fitting for the game.

Overall: 8/10

A fast-paced roguelike perfect for one of my many roguelike cravings. It feels godlike, it looks amazing, the replay loop keeps making me come back for more, but the lack of modes or 4 player support is definitely a letdown. I can get why it isn't present, as this game is very clearly designed for 2 players at a time, so it's fair they wouldn't be able to include 4 player. Otherwise, go and buy it.

Hugged my puppy and teared up after playing this amazing masterpiece.

Stray is an adventure game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive.

Gameplay: 9/10

The best cat game I've ever played. The controls feel very fluent. There have been a small amount of bugs I encountered on my first playthrough, but nothing game changing/breaking like most Triple A games. You traverse whole cities and towns with nothing but your paws, a friend you meet in the game, and the most important feature in my opinion: the Meow button. The parkour in the game is pretty accurate, reminds me a lot of how Assassins Creed handles parkour, that's a good thing. You sneak, push things off and scratch furniture, like a normal cat, but the game actually rewards you for doing it, like turning on a switch by standing on it, scratching a clothrag down to open a drawer to reach a roof or ceiling. The game rewards you for exploration in the most cat-like methods possible. I also love the cute mechanics of scratching carpets, sleeping in beds, doing cat things, etc, there's definitely some boop-on-the-nose mechanics, and it brings out humour and joy.

Visuals: 8/10

Great looking game, most of the animations look realistic, and the environments are breathtaking and detailed.

Story: 8.5/10

From Wikipedia: "The story follows a stray cat who falls into a walled city populated by robots, machines, and mutant bacteria, and sets out to return to the surface with the help of a drone companion, B-12. The player traverses the game world by leaping across platforms and climbing up obstacles, and can interact with the environment to open new paths. Using B-12, they can store items found throughout the world and hack into technology to solve puzzles. Throughout the game, the player must evade the antagonistic Zurks and Sentinels, which attempt to kill them." A simple, yet effective story.

Overall: 9/10

Stray is a cute, fun and heartfelt story with the best cat gameplay I've ever experienced. Absolutely worth getting.
