never played they are billions so i cant compare. however, this what an rts should absolutely feel like. the controls are solid and simple, and without a starting tutorial the help tips while playing are more than enough to get a grasp on how the game works. (I died like 4 times on easy, but i got it down). currently theres not a lot of characters or units but im sure more will be added. for an early access game, this is pretty solid and worth putting more than a few hours of time in.
