A disgusting display of lack of care, understanding, or any semblance of regard for the core of halo, game play first, the devs were too occupied with making a game that looks nice and had expensive music to get the basics right. The combat timings, map design, enemy design, weapons, abilities, and combat loop were all lacking, and because of this you end up with a game that provides little fun while being set in a nice looking map (excluding the forerunner architecture, which is a mockery of what halo can and should look like) with good but unfitting music. The Prometians are not fun to fight exclude the dog looking ones, the nights are bullet sponges with little distinction between ranks, and the drones serve only to annoy the player while not adding to the combat. The weapons are lacking in variety and you end up using only a handful of them.
