This game is amazing. Caan't wait fot the second installment to be out of early access so I can experience it fully.
You liked Stalker, you liked Metro Exodus? You will like Into The Radius.
It's an old game and it's an indie game so don't expect crzay triple A stuff but the immersion is here.
And you also will ♥♥♥♥ your pants. VR changes everything.

This game is addictive. I'm not a fan of Rogue Likes or Rogue Lites. But the fact that I couldn't finish the game on medium, drove me crazy. First time I played it on easy. I arrived to the boss super easily, I was disappointed, still got killed cause I didn't know his pattern. Then I played on normal and damn it was hard. But now I'm getting better and better and managed to finish it on normal. I have all the weapons unlocked. The mutators are fun. Especially the one with bow and the one where you have to not being touched once but you kill everybody in one hit.
For the beginners I advise you to do it on easy with the bow or with the mutators that reloads the weapons for you. So you can dual wield and go guns blazing.
My only complaint is the last boss. Cause the invincible frame after you get touched is non existent practically. So, if you are not hiding at the time he shots at you. You're done for.
Technically, the game plays like a Dark Souls. Don't try to go gun blazing like crazy, always try to aggro one enemy at the time. If you can though. And you guessed it, keep turning around in circle for most of them and run also run back like you're playing Serious Sam. But be sure don't end up on another room with other enemies behind you. So loon at the map for the new weapon at the first level of each chapters and at the second one, try to do the mini bosses at the end.

Serious Sam 3 in VR is my favorite just after Serious Sam 1 TFE. For one simple reason, the scale of the Egyptian theme pyramid building. In TSE, it's big but it doesn't have that feeling except at the end of the game. So yeah, the beginning of 3 is pretty lame, but the game start as soon as you blow up the Sphinx and then it's on. The part with the space monkey is pretty scary. The big monsters looks bigger than ever.
Lots of part of the decor can be blown up like the pillars. And the scale, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scale of Serious Sam 3 in VR with the Egyptian theme is mind blowing. So don't give up, go until the game really starts, the beginning is pretty boring. Don't miss out.
Compared to its flat counter part unfortunately, you cannot do executions but you can wield two weapons.
3 was always easier than the others, even more so with two weapons, but I'm having a blast, I feel like a real badass. Even with two weapons on TFE and TSE it was crazy exhausting.
But I didn't finish the game as I'm writing. I know it's gonna get even more crazier.
So for me if I had to chose it would be SS 3 and TFE, especially in VR.
As always deactivate all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ teleportation. Just play it like you played it flat on your PC.
Anyway, I will have to look for more boomer shooters where I can more pretty fast in VR after finishing SS 3.
Alyx and Vertigo 2 are amazing but slow pace is killing me, everytime I replay them.
If you love or just like Serious Sam, go for it in VR it's amazing. I hope the 4th installment will have a VR part in the future.

Is Vertigo 2 better than Vertigo Remastered? Yes. Is it longer? Yes.
Vertigo 2 is amazing, I had a blast.
The only things that I didn't like is that the character is slow. Slower than in Vertigo 1. And instead of adding a dash to avoid attacks from the bosses, you have to teleport. And some times it's tricky. The jump is optional for some reason. And you have to have Brian to be able to have speed. I understand that people have some nausea but you have to move a lot while fighting and the character is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow. At least I can used Brian now. That's my only complaint about this game. Like every VR game, deactivate all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like snap turn and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ help to not throw up. Forget about the demo. Play the game. It gets crazier and crazier the more you advance in the story. It was crazy enough in Vertigo 1. But in Vertigo 2, unbelievable. But next time make the character go faster or able to run please.

After finishing Serious Sam TFE VR. I had to to do the TSE VR. Of course. Still the best way to play the game. Only problem is. For some reason that I don't know they deactivated some gameplay stuff. Probably because again they think we will throw up. And for some other reason the game looks very blurry in the distance. It's big, bigger than the first one. First one looked crisp and smooth in VR but not the second. So get used to it, I couldn't even put the GPU settings to the max on Pico 4 with a 3090 without having ghosting and big latency. So I had GPU in Medium and CPU and Memory GPU on ultra. Whatever, having a blast. Still a shame that they deactivated traps and some rooms and the flying stuff. Anyway like the first one deactivate all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aids like snap turn and teleportation and the thing that blinds your view onto he side like a horse while you move. And you're set. It's annoying that every game I have to deactivate these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Props to the last levels, they are even more epic in VR.

I swear to god that it's the best VR adaptation on par with Hl 2 VR. I don't have motion sickness at all. So I had to get rid of all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Like reduction of FOV, activate smooth turn, moving with head, continue walking. And as pput the graphics tio the max and voila! The fastest VR game I ever played, even faster than HL2. Smùooth sailing. I couldn't stop, I didnt even stop to smoke. I had to force myself to stop. We need more fast FPS like this. Serious Sam in VR is a thousand time better than it was on flat. The fact that you can use two guns at the same time, changes everything. And for once it's useful cause it is Serious Sam. You never reload in this game. Like in Doom. I bought all the three games. It's on. Do the same guys, you won't regret it.

I don't know if it's a prequel to Catus 3 considering the ending, but I don't wanna spoil. But damn it was good game too. I'm definitely gonna try Desert Warfare. This one felt easier caus ethere was a lot of health available but some ârt are not doable without it. I'm missing the platforming a little. But hey who cares. Anyway, don't forget it's free, a little buggy sometimes but damn good like Cactus 3
