It's a decently fleshed out DF clone with a more comfortable learning curve.

Technicly you can't "win" dwarf fortress but i made a fortress of so many dwarves who were all happy and strong and rich that the game crashed... does that count?

Less is more.
Subset games understands this concept as they made an extremely deep tactics rougelike with very simple but meaningfull gameplay systems in place. The result is a satisfying and tight gameplay loop that when clicks with you, will give you entertainment for many hours.

One of the few survivor games that comes together so well i genuenly have fun no matter what i'm doing, might be just the well crafted atmosphere but even boring tasks such as gathering raw resources for a base is quite satisfying.
The style and art direction ensures the game's graphics will look presentable far into the future while not killing current desktops. Aldough the game tends to eat into my CPU's capacity, i didn't encounter lagspikes or crashes...

A simple but uniqe strategy game.
A very refreshing take on RTS and Grand strategy that scales well unlike other games. You can't effortlessly squash the enemy because the deep and intricate logistics system constantly challange you and equalise the playing field between any given opponents, Despite diplomacy being nonexistent it only serves to further the ballance between bigger and smaller states.
Despite your empire's immence size you can't just move your mighty army to conquer and curbstomp your neighbour without proper preparations, your other neighbours are constantly looking for weakness and will raid and siege underdefended areas.
Starvation is a real danger for both sides, and the rythm between the campaigning seasons and the winter is something unlike in any other RTS, combat is simplistic but the surrounding systems make the whole story of conquering brutal and methodical.

Hard but extremely fun,
And Loader is a testament to the art of skill based movement, and rewarding learning curve, i love being walking a spiderman/one punch man crossover.

PS: NO a tiny box on the right side of the store page is NOT informing customers when you let them launch into a game with no prompt to make psn account for months.

You are literally not allowed to play the game without premium because of the economy changes and premium get's you the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ grindfest experience that was previously known as F2P.
you need to have a K/D of 2.5 just to break even...
and with a K/D of 3-4 you can SLOWLY get a couple thousands SL in a game where vehicles costs 100k or more...

I bought this game a while ago on a sale and was at the back of my library due to me having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC.
I also heard the multiplayer was janky with constant desyncs so i didn't bother with it.
After a while i returned when i got a new PC and by the time 32 Player servers were running relatively smoothly and i had a plesent experience building in a few slightly role play oriented PvP servers to my hearts content.
