Ellipsis is a game where you collect 5 bubbles before flying through a goal at the end. Enemies try to kill you before that happens.

Do I recommend this game? Yes! After getting 100% on the game, I think you can overlook the issues I list down below and have a great time! It's worth the price and even more so on sale!

The levels are well-made and you want to keep trying them over and over to get those ellusive 5 stars. The controls are tight (mostly) and the enemies are really diverse, so it doesn't get boring. I love the aesthetic (many have said it reminds them of Geometry Wars, which I like as well). Also as you complete levels, it creates a giant picture made up of the lines from level to level and little representations of the enemies. I love this idea and I enjoy zooming out and seeing all the progress you've made!

The game does have issues that make me want to rage and slam my desk in frustration. It sadly takes away some of the enjoyment.

The first issue is probably just my own opinion, but sometimes is seems like your circle avatar is too big. I'll be speedrunning through the level but a tight turn that feels like it should work somehow clips the side of an enemy, killing me. Again this is probably just my opinion, but the problem still stands.

The second thing is how the bubbles are collected. In the bubbles are little orbs that you have to collect in order to get stars for that level. The problem arises when you are going quickly, popping the bubble can make the orbs scatter everywhere. It adds an element of randomness that is not fun to play against and makes getting 5 stars on tough levels seem impossible. I can see where the devs were going with this because it looks really cool and all. But the design seems to point to a more serious audience (finishing levels quickly) and those really clash in this case.

The last issue occurs when hitting walls and gravity patches. In a game like this, you want to be very precise in your movements and be able to do them quickly. But when something causes your character to move in a different way from your mouse, it feels like the game is fighting you or that your mouse is unresponsive.

Overall, Ellipsis shines in a lot of ways and its cool to see an indie developer release a good game like this. But just keep in mind of these issues and if you want to buy, probably get it on sale first!

I hear a lot of Overwatch players say that Paladins is better and more interested.

That says something.

Hi-Rez has done an amazing job with this game in making it fun for hours and hours! And it's only Early Access!

The one issue I have is that the hitboxes are wider than the character, so a close range fight against a Cassie tends to go really poorly because it's pretty easy to hit all the shots.

Anyway, if the devs stay with this game, I think it could become a staple in the competitive fps community. Keep up the great work, Hi-Rez!

Cute little game that's certainly worth playing for the price of FREE!
There's a little bit of horror, but it's not too scary. The mechanics work well.

The one small gripe I had was that a couple of the puzzles were hard to figure out (eg: the riddle).

Overall, this game is well worth the 2 hours it takes to 100% it :)

It's short, but kind of interesting! Not sure if there's some deeper meaning, or it's just supposed to be a cute little game. Whatever the case, yeah I enjoyed it :)

In short, you burn a whole ton of stuff. You pyromaniacs out there, this game is for you! Each item has a special event that occurs when you burn it (like setting a credit card on fire releases a bunch of dollar bills) and there are 140 things + the mail you receive to light up! So there is a lot of variety. This game also has the Tomorrow Corporation sense of humor (which I find hilarious), so it'll make you laugh! There are also "combos" to try to solve (burning certain items together), but they are pretty easy. There is actually a story in this game and it comes from the letters you receive, which explains the atmosphere. You can get a glimpse of it in the trailer. I absolutely loved it! It was very simplistic, but had this eery tone to the letters that kept me on edge. If you've played any other games by Tomorrow Corporation, you'll know what I'm talking about :) The two problems I had with the game were that there is a waiting time after you order an item, so you spend a lot of time waiting for your purchases (well, by a lot I mean around a minute on average). The other thing is that it can get old pretty quickly. You burn stuff. That's basically it. I get tired of it after about an hour or so of playing. Then I come back another day and have fun again. In conclusion, I had a fun time with it, and would recommend it to people. Just get it on sale :)

This is an incredible team-based shooter! Each class is unique and they all have their counter. For example, pyro is the counter to soldier because of airblasting. But you can always beat your counter with enough skill. It's also a game that you can't really get bored of. Each match is very different depending on the level of skill that's on your team compared to the other. The hundreds of weapons that are in the game can change the situation significantly too! It's all about your type of play style. I've been playing this game for around 3 years now and I still love it as much as when I first started!
