This game is by far the best real-time strategy game I have ever played. I started playing Age of Empires when I was but a wee lad. That was Age of Empires II. Age of Empires III is by my opinion even better. If you are looking for a beautiful game with great gameplay and excellent replay value, you have found your ideal game.
