We all know about the state Cyberpunk 2077 was launched in. And as horrible as it was CD Project Red have really redeemed themselves with the new Expansion: Phantom Libertyy and the 2.0 Update. But we should not forget nor forgive the state the game was originally released in as it was nowhere near what it is now. This really felt like the full release of the game.

Combat is excellent and walking around town finally feels good with the better AI and other enhanced features. The driving although still a little floaty and odd feels way way way better than it did at launch. Most of the bugs have been fixed and the game looks better than it did at launch with the lighting overhaul.

Before the 2.0 update this game was only a game I liked, with a good story and decent gameplay loops and mechanics it was a decent game despite the bugs I encountered. The 2.0 update firmly shot this game up to one of my all time favourites right up there with The Witcher 3 and the Mass Effect Trilogy. Don't skip out on this game and it's expansion. It is some of the most immersive story-telling and gameplay in a game I have ever experienced.

TLDR; The launch sucked and was a real kick in the nuts, the 2.0 update was the real release and it's a fantastic game. Don't skip out on this game and play it when you get the chance to, it's amazing through and through.

Coffee Talk, a game I didn't expect to come to like as much as I did. After all, it's a game about mixing different drinks you typically find in Cafés. But this game blew my expectations away and I came to love it so much that it is one of my all time favourite games.

This game has some of the best dialogue I've seen in any game of this type, the only game I can think of that rivals this game in dialogue is VA11HA11A the bartender game. The atmosphere this game sets even from the start is that of a cozy evening out with friends and it really nails that atmosphere as it almost feels like you're making friends with the characters in the game as it progresses.

This is one of those rare finds where you sit down and can just relax for an hour or two and come out of it feeling almost serene. The gameplay loop isn't exactly riveting as you're only mixing drink or reading some posts in the game's version social media yet that's not an issue in this game as this game nails the idea of "less is more". This is a well made concentrated experience that I wholeheartedly recommend for people to try.

Yakuza 0, What a game. At the time of writing this review I still haven't finished the main story and I am only on Chapter 7, probably around the mid point of the game. And yet I've clocked in about 60 hours already in to the game.

Now you might be asking, surely the game isn't that long that it's 60 hours of slow paced story just to get to the middle of the game. Short answer: No. No it is not. The long answer is a little more complicated. This game does an amazing job at giving the player options in the open world. There is plenty of side content in a smaller but much more detailed and filled in open world segment. The game walks a perfect balance between content and how the open world is presented.

What makes this game so unique is that it features two protagonists, two main characters that remain fundamental to the whole Yakuza story even after 0. This is where I am most amazed at this game because they made both protagonists equally as interesting which we all know is an incredibly difficult feat to do. They're nuanced, they have character, they're fully fleshed out and most important of all, they both have some of the most badass moments I have seen in any game topping the set pieces of games like Uncharted.

The combat is some of the best combat I have ever played and seen in a game. It is fluid, smooth, exciting and brutal. The controls are intuitive and making combos is easy and engaging. The skill tree is expansive and detailed leaving for some great growth along the way as you make the journey through the game's story and open world.

And yes, there is an "achievement list" or completion list as they call it in the game to keep track of all the side content in the game which you get rewarded with CP = completion points that you can use at the Shrine or Temple in the game to permanently upgrade your character or businesses. I forgot to mention, you can become the CEO of a Real Estate Company or a Manager at a Cabaret Club which both have their own mini-games.

TLDR: This game is fun, exciting and amazing all the way through with great story pacing and an engaging gameplay loop. Do yourself a favour and at least try the game out when it goes on sale!

This is the best horror experience after Hideo Kojima's amazing PT Demo for Silent Hill. It is the best psychological horror game you can find currently because the atmosphere is so unsettling that you can never ever really feel at peace or feel comfortable. This game makes your mind go into overdrive and cause scenarios in your mind that don't even happen and when something does happen it scares you even more.

If you're a horror game enthusiast you have to play this game, it is way better than Outlast or Silent Hill and this should be mandatory to play for every horrror enthusiast out there.

This is one of those very personal games that even though it is regarded as a weak entry to the franchise it's my favourite game from this series. Final Fantasy XV culminates everything I've loved about gaming with a decent story a fantastic open world to explore with the greatest party of friends taking this amazing trip across the continent.

The world is diverse with beautiful sights to witness riding the Chocobo is fun and I get an emotional attachment to that fat bird. The characters although flawed encapsulates a lot about what Final Fantasy is about. The combat is amazing and the most fun part about the game the bosses are diverse and have great designs and I've spent more time wandering the open world in this game than in any other. I love this game to death and although it might not be for you. It would be criminal to not give it a go.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This game is the best game in recent times. Although it does have some glaring flaws like most games the good heavily outweighs the bad to such an extent that you mostly forget about the flaws that you spot.

The story is amazing and following Arthur Morgan on his journey to become a better man is some of the most well written stories ever written and one of the best adventures you'll get to experience. The World is beautiful and big and there's so much to explore for the people who enjoy doing that.

All I can say is that this game is truly worth playing. Don't be misled by the total play time, I've played over 180 hours on different platforms.

This game is probably the best game Ubisoft has made in the Assassin's creed series. If we're talking strictly gameplay this is the most fun game to play with the naval warfare and pirating loops. This game offers great exploration with a gripping story that's a little slow in the beginning but starts to ramp up as we follow Edward's mayhem and carnage around the West Indies.

It's smooth and satisfying as well as FUN. That's the most important part, actually having fun playing this game. I rarely ever 100% games but this is one of the few games I've actually 100%. To me it is that good. So please give it a chance because this is probably the overall best game in the Assassin's creed series.

This is what the peak of an FPS game looks like. The map design is made for fluid movements with the new movement mechanics introduced. The swing points and wall climbs add a whole new level of verticalty and platforming options. The dash helps out this game so much, if only to give the player a good option to keep distance from the more powerful opponents. The demons this time around are more numerous and difficult since ever before. This is quite possibly the FPS of the decade and this is definitely my favourite game this year so far.

Is this game revolutionary? No, it's not. But is it a unique game? Yes, in all it's form. This is a very unique game in that there is no real gameplay loop per se. But it's not a real visual novel either. Visual novels usually only have texts and choices but in VA-11 Hall-A you make your decisions through the orders you make. So this game and it's story boils down to how you wish to treat your customers. Again it's not revolutionary but is still quite unique. But there is one thing that makes this game even more unique, and it's the writing. The writing for this game is so good that you kind of lose track of time and want more, more of the characters more customers to serve and so on. Every character has a story and every character will tell them to you if you're a good bartender.

TLDR: This game is one of the most unique games centered around dialogue that I highly encourage you to try out. It is without a doubt one of my favourite games.

You all know why I gave this game a positive review, IT'S THE WITCHER 3! Enough has been said. But to explain why I give this a positive review should be quite clear. This game is ages ahead everyone else when it comes to being a good RPG, the characters are all amazingly well made and have depth something Fallout 4 lacked.

The open world is vast, almost too big and leaves a lot of options and side content to explore not related to the main story. The world is fleshed out with encounters and Witcher contracts for you to take to play the part of a Witcher and truly feel how it is to be one. The dialogue is good and straight to the point, something Mass Effect Andromeda lacked with their 3 year old dialogue.

The combat is decent and almost downright great, the only thing holding it back is that you get stuck in a habit of using "quen" and just going in and hitting ♥♥♥♥ if you play a particular playstyle, the game doesn't really try to help players play in a more diverse playstyle which I think can make combat repetetitive but this is still incomparably good to Skyrim's appalling combat.

So all in all this game is a near perfect mix of all components that make up an RPG and that is why it is still the best 5 years after it's release. Thank you for reading.
