This game is great, except it isn't.

The actual gameplay is great, the vehicles are beautiful.
This should be a fantastic game, however there is one big problem.

The game doesn't want you to play the game, simply put, you're punished for not doing exceedingly well, you lose in game currency if you're killed. Meaning that many times you regress rather than progress in the game. Sometimes through no fault of your own, game crashed? still lose the money.

You're going to find much frustration in this game, not because of toxic players, but because you're in a never ending tug of war with the game, to just not lose points. Even using real money on premium wont get rid of "repair costs" it is only a band aid on a open bleeding wound.

It is sad to see such a good game being locked behind these mechanics, which makes the game borderline unplayable figuratively and literally.

I don't recommend this game in it's current state.

This game offers a simple yet highly enjoyable experience, its potential is huge.

A bit bare bones at the moment, but the potential in this game is astronomical.

This dlc is pricy and does add some mechanics which if min-maxed could become very overpowered.

It also has some balancing issues making it very easy to snowball your court grandeur, but other than that, it provides much needed flavour and things to do beyond just painting the map your nations color.

if you want a game that allows you to build armies and conquer castles. This is the game for you, but if you get tired of that, then there are mods, oh so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods. That allow you to play in every era known to man.
