The game itself is incredibly fun: there is something for everyone. But for me it’s always been the people: I have made friends & enemies for life, and even seen plenty of irl relationships start within FFXIV. The amount of impact this game has had on my life cannot be understated. Yet I barely knew anything about MMO’s or Final Fantasy before this. Nearly any other game is just a fun way to pass the time for me, but this one will always feel like home.

Absolute masterpiece. If you like any fantasy stuff at all, buy this and go in blind. Probably the best game I have ever played, or at least in the top 3.
