Generic and unmemorable open-world game. 6/10

The story is quite bland. The voice acting is fine, but maybe the voice direction was not the greatest. Not really much else to say there.

The combat system is very rough and I never really felt comfortable with it. There is a parry mechanic with a set cool-down for missing the parry so if you parry just a tad too late it feels unfairly punishing, even more so on some enemies that have super fast attack combos. The big combat mechanic is the "momentum" mechanic where attacking builds a meter, the higher the meter the more damage you deal but the more damage you take. The higher your momentum the more of a glass cannon you become. Combat doesn't really have a good consistent rhythm so some enemies feel better to fight and some feel just awful. From the start of the game to the final boss there are a lot of times where you die and its not always clear why or how. Whether its a combo that does or doesn't stun-lock you and your trying to parry but its not clear if its on cool-down or something else is happening, or having high momentum and not even seeing an attack cause maybe its off screen or your too close to the enemy to see the animation and just getting 1-shot.

Difficulty seems to scale weirdly. One of the big things i noticed is that on hard difficulty the off-screen indicators that tell you an enemy is attacking is a lot less visible than on normal which just feels cheap and artificial. I started playing the game on hard, would just get 1-shot, turned the difficulty to normal and then after about an hour every fight felt trivially easy. You either don't take any damage and clean sweep, or hit one wrong button and get boned. In all holes.

There's also not really anything at all to upgrade or any special items/equipment to loot making every purpose the open-world exists to serve kind of meaningless. Which just kinda begs the question, why? I sorta just ran around doing the quests that gave armor and didn't really feel like anything else was worth my time. There wasn't any reason to kill enemies after a while as you got a ton of mats pretty quickly, leading to me just avoiding combat almost entirely about half way through. There just isn't anything to incentivize you to explore or complete the open-world objectives.

The equipment options are limited. You start with 2 weapons and get the 3rd about an hour or two into the game and that's it. No more weapons after that. All armor you get from quests, There's I think 12 armors, all of which are just stat sticks that you can only upgrade 3 times. This leaves you with 3 armors that go to the highest lvl. The only part of the equipment systems left are these combat modifiers that are exhaustive in number. Truly overwhelming. However, any system with combat modifiers like "bonus damage while in the air" only have a handful that are actually worth using at all. Making the number of them that you would actually use go down from 200 to maybe 15.

Not the worst game I have ever played. Feels like an game from 2013 done poorly.

worth for 15-20$ on sale not more than that though.

I like to play games like these solo with something on in the background or with friends. As long as you have a squad or like queueing with randoms its fun but playing solo just sucks. The non battlepass progression is a bit shallow and a tad grindy overall.

My antivirus(eset) hated the anticheat in this game. When installing this game and everytime it updated my antivirus gave me a nice popup and the game would update about every 2 weeks or so. Kinda offputting, not sure why you really need such strict anti cheat in a pve only game.

The game is fun and i did mostly enjoy what i played but nothing can top DRG. ROCK AND STONE BROTHERS!!

Got this game as a gift. Was "amazing" for the less than ten minutes it takes to experience the whole game. Truely bottom of the trash heap.
