Game feels unfinished, and is a huge step-down from its predecessor. Putting the obvious performance problems aside, the game has tons of glaring issues. I feel like I spent $60 on an early alpha build.

- World is massive, but completely empty. Exploring outside mission locations does not feel rewarding.

- No persistent AI. Groups/enemies will pop in in when you are within ~50m of their spawn location, then pop out when you leave it. I literally found a sweet spot with my scope where I could wiggle back and forth and watch a NEW sniper spawn on top of tower repeatedly. Enemies WILL spawn on top of you.

- No stealth mechanics. Enemies have infinite range on their cone of vision (so long as they are rendered in of course) and it goes through most walls, terrain, and darkness. Crouching, walking, and sprinting plays no part in it. Only way for an enemy not to see you is stay behind them 100% of the time.

- Human enemies are a joke. I realized early on that zig zagging and charging them with a knife is ridiculously effective. Their AI cannot fathom such a highly skilled tactic, and they just accept their fate.

- NPCs have horrid dialogue. Both the writing and voicing is atrocious. I felt like I was watching Oblivion NPCs interact, with none of the silly charm. Almost every line feels patched together in a scene, as if each one was read separately with no context to the conversation. My wife also pointed out that it feels like the MC is the only one with a high quality mic while everyone else got theirs from a bargain bin.

- Why is it 154 GB? They didn't even try to optimize this game.

Hopefully this really is some massive mistake and they did just release an early build. I am huffing that copium, I know, but I just can't see how you could justify releasing the game in this state with this price tag.

Not being able to hide from mutants and having them apparate in front of me did turn this into a jumpscare simulator though, and is probably the only enjoyment I got from playing. Gunplay feels pretty good too, I guess.
