I went into Hatoful Boyfriend expecting a light hearted, wacky game to laugh away the time with. I had no idea I'd be getting engrossed in the plot line, or even that there would be such cohesive narrative. After completeing all 14 endings and the epilouge I can recommend fully Hatoful Boyfriend as quite the entertainment package. The character development more solid in some cases than other more traditional visual novels on Steam, but with added avian novelty. All in all Hatoful Boyfriend was a torando of emotions all wrapped up in a truly unique package.
