i always loved blackjack, but this is actually so much more fun than regular blackjack. the joker system is super fun to play with, and i actually adore looking at all of the illustrations on each of the cards :) it adds an extra charm to the game that makes it super fun

my only request is to maybe change the color of the clubs suit so that it stands out more, or give an option for that? even though the shapes of the spades/clubs suit is definitely different, i still confuse them pretty often because my eyes are bad

otherwise, this is an incredibly amazing game. if you enjoy card type games, definitely get it!

landed on experimentation to gather some scrap. one of us stays behind to give intel, me and two others go inside, finding so much ♥♥♥♥
i give my walkie-talkie to another friend so i can run some loot back. i bring aforementioned stuff back, go back to the building to look for more.
friends are nowhere to be found, cant even hear them. so me, being the greedy bastard i am, decide to go looking myself sans any intel for more scrap.
i fill up my inventory with scrap, find the fire exit. i do one quick look of the rest of the room, turn back to the fire exit.
i hear footsteps behind me. i ask "hello?" no response. i turn around. BIG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THING WITH GLOWING EYES TURNS THE CORNER AND STARES AT ME.
i start yelling and asking if theres anybody around me. i hear no response again so i turn to the fire exit to leave as soon as i can, the thing rushes at me and snaps my neck before i can leave.
nobody knows where i am except the intel guy. the dramatic irony is funny asf. 10/10 i adore this game

what other game can you think of where you can inject your friends with psychosis-inducing alien blood, morphine, and fentanyl all at the same time so you make them beg for haloperidol and naxolone?
i sure as hell cant name any!

i'd consider making a funny review about this game, but ngl, i feel like id do this game a disservice if i did it because there is just, SO much good ♥♥♥♥ in this game. this game is GOOD. like, unfathomably good. if you like colony sims, building, and management? you should buy this game. you like techy min-maxing type games (such as factorio)? you should buy this game. you like writing stories and sci-fi? you should buy this game. casual gamer who just want to relax after work? you should buy this game (and dont worry about the difficulty, because the ai difficulty will make sure to go easy on you if you tell it to.) likewise, if youre masochistic and want a challenge, you should buy this game, because the ai will absolutely kick your ass if you want it to. you like modding the hell out of your games? dont worry, this game has a modder base that has updated and created around 5,000+ mods by now around the last WEEK after biotech got released. seriously.
please buy this game. i implore you, you will NOT regret it

edit: literally a slog nowadays-- and this game, that i was once passionate about, fired all of the people who made this game something to be passionate about. so i no longer play it, and you should too, before you sink all of your money into this cesspool of a company.
