Short, Sweet and a great message to boot. Fun fighting with some humorous 'Sick Moves' and a main cast that grow on you. There are a few bugs but nothing that will stop you from enjoying the game. Would love to see an animated short series for this.

A short title, that can be finished in the span of a primetime tv episode or less. Fun mechanics and has the potential for a high skill ceiling title with some refinement. A flow state game if you really get into it, but lacking the necessary challenge to require it. Check it out for sure.

Frustrating but fun, bring your friends. Its a great party game where you can all get annoyed and laugh about it.

An absolute Recommend. PSX graphical style, a great OST and some fun action and cinematography. Not too long and you can explore the world outside of the story a lot more than you would expect. Short concise main story that does a lot in a very small amount of time. Some might call that a negative but it doesn't tell too much and allows the player to dwell on the what ifs and maybes. As a free title I see no reason to pass it up. Here's to the dev making more games in the future.

A fun point and click adventure, the puzzles aren't too excessive or elaborate. A nice relaxing adventure that you can take at your own pace. Give it a shot if you're looking for something to pallete cleanse between bigger titles.

Great Game, Part SMT/ part investigation sim. Extremely short, can be beaten in as quickly as 20-30 mins. A fun game and looking forward to the future installments. There will be future installments, right?

Ultimately this game suffers from the curse of Square Enix and their managerial ineptitude. The game is marketed and presented so incorrectly that it borders on a crime. There is no AI so if you're getting this on that basis alone, don't. It's a free 2D title that somehow has enough memory leaks and and resource hogging to suggest that it likely did have AI at one point and was sloppily removed.

But the game gets a recommend because I actually kind of had fun playing through it and harassing to the assistant Yasu at every turn. Tips for improving your game: Hit the pause key on your keyboard (Yeah the one that most forget even exists) it'll open the games text prompts. These show how close to the predefined key phrases you are. Using single words like names or places will almost always fail so use that as you will.

I've never played the original and this piqued my interest in that, so I can call that as a win for about a 3-4 hours experience.

New to the series, returning veteran. Doesn't matter. If you enjoy your horror with a side of action and B-grade movie acting, then this is a must play.

Nostalgia tracks included in the deluxe edition. Not a necessity but many tracks from the original just haven't been topped (Save room, Merchant).

Absolutely Beautiful, Wish I played it when I initially bought it. Reached out to own brother afterwards. If you haven't played it. Please pick it up. While a short experience, it is a great one.

Just shy of 20 years and this game is still a joy to play, the anniversary edition has full controller support for xbox controllers. The humor still gets a chuckle, and while the combat is simple it still definitely leaves you feeling powerful by the end.

Purchased on Sale, and while I love the game I would advise the same. At $35 for a 20 year old game, its a little steep. Recommend grabbing at around $15.
