Labor of Love 2022!

Fun game!

It starts really well nice atmosphere some jumpscares but then it gets boring.

The breakpoint for me was the "monster shout" skill everytime it triggers my hearing cries, it's a terrible sound and so loud that I have no interest in keep playing anymore.

Just for the main menu song and the prologue I already think it was worth it.

Short and sweet like many good moments in life.

This a gem. I was impressed by everything like I'm not with many new games.
Easy setup for graphics and controls and gameplay is a bliss.

Game is hard but not I'm ripping my hairs off hard.

You are supposed to die die and die until you learn the patterns specially in boss fights. I didn't beat a single boss first try. Started on hard (2º difficult from 3).
The game is completely doable in solo. The replay value is great and it consists in visiting new areas findind new itens and bosses that are random each time you reroll your campaign.

Unnecessary update.

I don't understand this kind of thought by the devs part. You have a game that is a year and half old PVE co-op that is perfectly fine then all of a sudden you rework all the skills for all the classes and force a new mechanic in the combat system that nobody asked for.

Even the changes were poorly made. The level cap was 30 but you could keep levelling beyond that 30(+X), they raised the cap to 35 and made the 35 skill the same as the old 30 not putting the players 30+ in the new cap meaning you had to level up again to get a skill you already had before.

You don't increase the sales by reworking the game like that and you sure as hell don't keep your vets by doing that. People want new content: new maps, new weapons and such. There will be vets still playing of course but the fact that you divided a not so large playerbase is not healthy at all for the game.
I was about to buy an old DLC but this update made me change my mind and uninstall the game. It's sad because I had a lot fun and was hoping to keep that way for a little more.

I still have hope for Vermintide 3 and honestly hope the devs learn a lesson from this. Add more content, new things. If you think something is OP or broken in some way, tweak that do not revamp the entire skill tree for all characters that we got used to.

TL;DR: Game was fine and fun and after a year and a half of release out of thin air they released an update that completely revamped all talents and classes.

I am thankful that this game came my way and I could play it.

Amazing game. Short but every minute spent was fun.

This is the best game I bought today!
