Here's my 1 h. impression on Quake Champions:

While I was really excited and my childhood nostalgia of quake 3 arena was pumping,
This game did not exceed my expectations.

First I was greated by Log in Screen, nothing special really practical.
Although what was annoying straight away I was getting server connection errors that's when I was sitting and trying to log in for 15 min. then I got sick of it, quitted.
After few hours passed I came to conclusion that it might have been some server updates somekind of clean up, checked again and wola i'm in the zone.

The main menu is very good, easy to navigate. I went trougth the shop and realised that the onyl way to buy champions are with real money whitch was really disapointing, because I allready paid decent sum of price, whitch covered not all content. Dissapointed and irritated I thought i joint the game, pressed play button and noticed that more then a half game types(modes) are locked. Did a tutorial, reallised i knew everything, so I went straight to the maych.

Match makign system isn't great as well, while I just bought a game I allready was playing versus players that are 30 levels above me. Whitch concluded me of getting my ass slaughtered, couse I couldn't even focus on the map well, Everything was confusing af, particles flying everywhere, chaos, horrible sounds, man I telling you It wasn't really that bad, but it was bad enough. Half game passed my team is getting ass kicked, meanwhile I noticed the chat bar on the bottom left side of my screen, whitch was full off hate and toxicity, while I was trying to consentrate and understand the game, people not only managing to stay in that hell and play it but they even able to write at the same time, community part is important in games, but when you log in for the first time and people allready saying to you uninstall the game, or leave the match, it's really disapointing. Half of the game I was lagging, ping wise, thank god it ended quicly and we somehow won that game.
So i thought allright it wasnt the best but lets try again. started the queue, accepted the match, waited for 2 loading screens, then message pops up whitch prompts me that server is disconnected, AGAIN.

The Idea is certently great, and game mechanics and similarities do exist within some boundaries.
First off all the weapons are classic, I think new models are great, though grenade launcher for me was most fun weapon in quake 3 the arena, here I found some kind of similar gun that shoots 3 bullets at quick rate, was a little bit dicapointed.
Maps are really creative but hard to learn the possitions of items because there is ton of them.

Overall I give it benefit of the doubt because it's early access game, but It certently isn't mutch fun to start in, mabie if you have some friend to paly with, mabie that. Though my honest opinion - I wouldn't recommend it.
