My friend and I were really excited to try out this new souls-like game, playable entirely in co-op! So I joined my friend (host) in a game.
And what a disappointment, I'm just a simple pnj in his world.
I can't pick up items lying on the ground, only items dropped by monsters when they die.
If I die in Axiom or Umbral, I have to wait for him to revive me (I don't have the two lives), and only if it's not a boss fight, because then my death is final and I have to watch him until he wins or uses up his two lives.
Add to this the fact that I only drop 33% of the amount of souls, so my friend levels up much faster.

In short, this is certainly the worst co-op experience I've ever had, as I'm just a spectator to the main player.
For a co-op-like experience, watch on Twitch and you'll be able to do something else at the same time.
