Cash grab dlc (not a standalone game) for the same price as the first Sabnautica. Bad story writing (no spoilers but its just pathetic, especially the ending), rushed ending, less spacious zones, the world feels very small, less immersive. No point in farming metrials. In the first game you had to farm for cool goals like Cycplops upgrades and launch pad stuff. In this Subnautica you just get upgrades for one of your vehicle until you get max depth and thats all you need materials for. Deleting the coolest vehicle in the game and putting in this pathetic sea truck is just underwhelming to put it mildly.

Huuuuuuge disappointment. Positive reviews are mainly from alpha when people thought all of the forementioned problems are gonna be worked on and improved in the release version.

Great game, actually hard as f to play survival maps on maximum difficulty. Took me 157 hours to beat all survival maps (with pausing). I felt like i was the dumbest most pathetic player in the world to take so long to "beat" the game. Turns out pretty much everyone has to suffer that much to beat it all.

More monster variety + different unit build paths would be nice. Some units are useless and you never build them cuz not worth it.
