Democracy is victorious once again, Helldivers. Never was such a result in doubt. The Sony tyranny has been vanquished, and we all citizens from across the globe are once again free to deliver managed Democracy.

Good game overall, ruined (imo) by crossplay.

I'm all for crossplay generally, but in Bloodhunt, you can feel the aim assist. It is not hard to spot a console player in this game when they do not miss a single full-auto bullet like a laser beam tracking you at long range, despite the game's myriad movement mechanics.
The game features many movement mechanics / abilities to help you evade and get around quickly, yet none of them do a damn thing to help this issue. It can feel like your options are to either hope you see them before they see you, or play the Enforcer for the invincibility ability.

Other than that, I feel the BR gamemode moves a bit too quickly. The way the game has been designed, with the abilities and weapons etc, the game very much feels like it was made to be more planning, methodical, think about the best approach, or set yourself up and play slow. However, the map is a bit small, and the gas closes in extremely quickly, rendering half of these things a bit pointless, if not making them just feel outright bad at times.

As for the TDM gamemode, I find it very enjoyable. It's your standard Team Deathmatch setup with the Bloodhunt mechanics, and somehow feels more natural than the BR mode with this design. This mode is however, brought down by the matchmaking. Depending on when you queue, it can take a long time to find a match. Once you DO find a match, there is a very high chance of the teams being extremely unbalanced. One side being high level sweats whilst the other is newer players, or just that not enough people queue so the game starts with one full team and one team with 3-4 people on it which guarantees you will be farmed. If none of these things happen, there is stil la good chance that a few players on either side will just be AFK for the match, trying to get free XP from your play.

I would definitely recommend the game to anyone who loves playing as a vampire, or those who enjoy BR games in general. Will it be for everyone? Definitely not, but what is. It has issues that need to be addressed and sorted out, but I would still maintain that the game is extremely fun in spite of the problems.
