Game is clearly ported from the console version, you can't even turn off motion blur in-game.

There is a large UI for interaction with objects, often demonstrated when you have to "Hold E" to do anything, as well as a very simple and hard to navigate options menu (clearly designed for controllers to scroll through) missing certain video settings.

If you want to turn motion blur off (as well as change other unavailable video settings), you have to access the user files here:
C:\Users\<USER>\Saved Games\metro exodus\<STEAMID>\user.cfg

And set:
r_blur_level 0
r_game_mblur_scale 0.00

Quick Update: I would recommend this for people with a high end PC who are fans of the series, wait til it gets a bit cheaper though.

The best game has got to be Metro 2033 Redux.
It simply combines Metro Last Light's amazing graphical and immersive improvements with Metro 2033's superior storyline and levels. One of the best "linear" games of all time.

Ah yes, back in the day when reporters made snide insinuations.
Nowadays they just make disingenuous assertions and i've had enough of their tabloid journalism.
