2023 Naval Warfare update edit:
Coming from a veteran boomer back into this game is absolutely jarring, the game has become way too complex (it was already complex before and took upwards of 10+ hours to get a grasp of all the systems), the game should absolutely be simplified and streamlined (especially the facility stuff)

The shard thing is also completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and should be removed, its COMPLETELY against the spirit of the game, a good alternative would be to bring back skirmishes (perhaps utilizing different biomes such as deserts, and water based skirmishes) the victor could gain resources to be used in the main war and the servers should still get some relief
