Campaign is good but lacking with content, multiplayer is a mess.
It hurts my heart to see one of my favourite IP getting botched by 343 management.

First play was on tragic hero difficulty :
-One of the trio of the childhood friends and heroes died in battle
-Most of the world was swarmed by monsters and floods
-A recruited hero killed every enemies on the battlefield before dying
-Pyrrhic victory with a party of old geezers that saw the world getting destroyed
10/10 epic odyssey with lots of dramas
