Early Access Review
Pros:
This game sets itself apart by using real geographic data from OpenStreetMap to dynamically generate game zones, making each play area unique and true-to-life. The ability to build and defend your base feels refreshingly different, enhanced by realistic graphics that perfectly suit the game's atmosphere. While the story about a virus outbreak is standard, the gameplay itself is engaging, featuring a sense of urgency that drives you to strategize for survival. The music complements the game beautifully, adding an eerie yet war-like feeling that heightens the gaming experience. Controls and mechanics are solid, scoring an eight out of ten, with room for improvement in the queuing system. Despite being in early access and having some minor bugs, the game runs well on average computers. New players will find it challenging but rewarding, especially if they prefer games without handholding. The AI could use some refinement in pathing, but the game compensates with high replay value and significant endgame content. Once all structures are researched, players can build massive bases and attempt to survive as long as possible, continuously expanding and taking in new survivors. While it lacks multiplayer, the potential for adding co-op mode could enhance the experience further. Overall, the game strikes a good balance between challenge and reward, especially for an early access title.

Cons:
While the game offers a unique twist on the management and base-building genre with zombies, it has its share of issues that need addressing. For instance, the absence of a priority system for building or looting can lead to inefficiencies that detract from gameplay. The story feels basic and underdeveloped, leaving me hoping for more depth in future updates. A significant technical bug related to warehouses can disrupt AI behavior, which becomes problematic as it is a game-breaking bug. Additionally, the game is not forgiving for beginners, as there is a learning curve and no guidance, which might put off players who prefer more direction.
On a more personal note, there are several aspects of the game that I find lacking. The gate design is restrictive, offering only two snap points, which limits how walls can be connected and reduces strategic options in base layout. There's also no mechanism to grow trees, which can lead to a permanent shortage of wood if resources are exhausted. I also feel the game could greatly benefit from a prioritization system for queuing construction tasks. Moreover, the defense structures like walls and gates lack an upgrade system, which would add depth to the survival aspect. The save game system is cumbersome and could be improved to better manage progress across different locations. Some maps disproportionately distribute resources, which could be mitigated by introducing a trading system. Lastly, a user interface that tracks the ratio of people to houses would be immensely helpful for managing shelter needs without having to manually count.
These issues, while not detrimental, suggest there is significant room for improvement to enhance the game's functionality and player experience.

Ideas:
The game has great potential for expansion and refinement. Introducing a 'No Story' mode, as indicated on the roadmap, alongside more story chapters would significantly enhance the narrative depth. Incorporating a housing counter would provide crucial gameplay feedback, helping players manage their resources more effectively. Co-op multiplayer is another exciting possibility that could add a layer of strategy and interaction through trading and cooperation, enhancing the community aspect of the game. Additionally, incorporating regional voice operators, based on the player's location choice, and more music tracks would enrich the audio-visual experience. Supporting mods, as hinted at on the feedback page, would allow for even greater customization and longevity of the game.
For accessibility improvements, UI icons that change color to accommodate color blindness would make the game more inclusive. Other innovative ideas include introducing baby zombie hordes that pose new strategic challenges, expanding building mechanics to allow for more versatile constructions like multi-sided towers, and implementing damage to zombies when they hit walls or gates, adding a realistic layer to sieges. More dynamic NPC interactions, like hiring raiders or mercenaries, would also deepen the strategic gameplay. The possibility of mines for resource extraction, and advanced technology such as drones or robots powered by solar panels, could revolutionize resource management. Enhancing the zone management system with sliders to adjust zone sizes could cater to different hardware capabilities, making the game more accessible. Moreover, allowing players to customize their banners and adding a random city selection feature would personalize and vary each gameplay experience. Lastly, improvements to transportation and resource processing in the endgame, such as the ability to scrap cars or create metal and bricks, would provide continued engagement for long-term players.
These enhancements would not only address current limitations but also bring fresh dynamics and challenges to the game, keeping the community engaged and inviting new players to explore its depths.

Infection Free Zone – Prologue is an absolute gem of a game! From the moment I started playing, I knew I was in for something special. There's just so much potential packed into every corner of this game.

One of the standout features for me was the town-building aspect. I mean, seriously, it's addictively fun. You start off with just a few basic structures, but as you progress, you get to expand and protect your town in all sorts of ways. Whether it's adding new buildings, fixing existing ones, or protecting them with all sorts of tactics, the possibilities are endless.

But it's not just about building. The game also has this awesome sense of progression and challenge. As you build up your town, you have to deal with various threats and challenges, all while managing your resources and keeping your citizens safe. It's a delicate balance, but that's what makes it so exciting.

And let's talk about the visuals and atmosphere. Infection Free Zone really nails it in this department. The graphics are crisp with an atmospheric feel, and the whole game just oozes charm and personality. Whether you're exploring the lush forests, bustling streets, or eerie abandoned buildings, there's always something interesting to see and discover.

Overall, I had an absolute blast playing Infection Free Zone – Prologue. It's one of those games that just sucks you in and keeps you coming back for more. I can't wait to see what the full release has in store, and I'll definitely be writing a full review once it's out.

Early Access Review
I would say as an early access goes in survial matters, this is a very good game. "The Forest" is simalar to this game but this game takes a more in depth in crafting, and to open survial games. Now becuase this game is very new there alot of bugs, but this game has alot of potential. This game has some similarities from (The Forest, Region of Kings, Rust, Ark, and many others) What is different is the craft is very broken down; now in my opinion they might change this crafting and make it easier, it is a hard crafting system. I say this becuase it takes a long time to craft tier one clothing and everything has to be crafted by ones instead of in bulk. In the future they will add multiplayer. So I will review this again when they are done with most of the bugs in singleplayer.

NOTE: If you like games in early access with open survial games this is for you. The combat system is buggy so do not attack hostile mobs. If you have enough time to biuld a house biuld it away from the mobs that are going to attack you so you do not have to deal with dying alot. The reason why the combat is buggy is that it is hard to fight back, but it is not impossable.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS This is is one of the best games I have played. In the first 10 mins you try to find out who you are and whats ur purpose. In the next 30 min you are be wildered and scared. Always making you think and making your heart race. This game is one of many games I hope to see as a series. Last in this 30 min. you see graphic stuff like bleeding men or half broken driods, hearing voices, and seeing terminator like things walking about sometimes as you explore. I'm not going to say much else, I do not want to spoil the game any futher. If you like games that make you feel like you are there and also like horror GET THIS GAME IMMEDIATELY.
