if all this is correct, and you still need to clean your mouse
Unscrew the one screw on the underside of the mouse, there should only be one. when unscrewed pull the top half up but mostly back, and it should separate. take a fine wire or other precise instrument and scrape away grime. be care when cleaning the mousewheel as it is very sensitive to debris clean thoroughly with a paper towel.
a small camera on one side looks at the wheel as it turns make sure the camera remains untouched.
if you arent having issues with scrolling and instead you are having issues with curser positioning, its most likely a hair that is in the laser sight if not clean there is a plastic panel infront of the laser this is usually the part that can get dirty, I don't recommend cleaning the laser itself.
