A Day in The Life:

*Wake up to inspiring corporate message from our benevolent corporate overlords.

*Clean grapple gun while paying your daily payment on your debt.

*Put on spacesuit, go out the airlock to your assigned ship.

*Pay for oxygen tank, make sure you hold your breath while doing so.

*Breach cockpit, be knocked into outer space by explosive decompression.

*Activate spare, pay the fee.

*Look at reactor funny, it explodes.

*Activate spare, pay the fee.

*Accidentally destroy valuable salvage, pay the fine.

*Return after long day's work to habitation module. Nearly wrench arm out of socket because you're out of thruster fuel and can't brake any other way than grabbing for dear life.

*Still in debt.


10/10 would get $1 billion in debt to corporate overlords again.

10/10, would recommend for parties and as teamwork/teaching exercise. Would also recommend the "experts" taking a shot after every failed attempt. And/or the defuser taking a shot after every successful attempt. Missed opportunity on my part, golden one for you.

The Party:

1. Elf Knight who does three things: Eats body parts, drinks, hits people.
2. Dwarf Inquisitor who throws mosquitoes at people and turns anyone who comes near him to stone.
3. Dwarf Cleric who heals herself and (sometimes) us, and also turns anyone who comes near her to stone.
4. Lizard Conjurer that summons all the totems, all the time, on all fours for some reason. Plus a little hellspawn minion to fetch the mail and eat people.

And all four of these misfits on an island wearing fancy collars starting fights for no reason. 10/10, would kill Magister Yarrow for Migo's ring all over again.

Swish swish slice slice this game right here is rather nice

Up down left right your swordplay turns real tight
but watch your swings lest you bust something

This game lets you roleplay as a budget Mountain (from Game of Thrones). You want to rip someone's limbs/head off? Go right ahead. Or fight with two double-sided axes and have the time of your life.

All seriousness though, this was one of the first games I got with my VR headset (Rift S). It's quirky, funny, and easy to pick up (once you get off of the default movement scheme, pulling/grabbing is tedious).

Like some of the other reviews, you definitely want a decently sized playspace, otherwise, you'll do as I did and bash your hand into oblivion on your desk and/or break something (whether on yourself or in your surroundings).

The last city builder I played was SimCity 3000, which was quite some time ago. I picked this up on sale and wasn't sure if I'd like it. It's definitely different from the old SimCity games. It's a lot more in depth, and the learning curve is steeper. But it is just so darn relaxing. It captured the unhurried and unstressed play of the old SimCity games perfectly.

So yeah, it isn't just like the old games. And no, that's not a bad thing.

Seriously though, this is a fine game, especially if you like stuff like The Walking Dead and A Wolf Among Us (and if you haven't tried at least one of those games, this is a good place to start). I can't wait for Episode 5 to come out.
