Rimworld Biotech, hmm.
So far, the best expansion that Tynan and his people served us in my humble opinion!
The experience is astonishingly good, details were put into this DLC and poured like rain -
We've got a possibility now to create our own "race" by the use of xenogenes, of which we have around 200 i might add!

There are also pre-existing races in the world, now factions changed even more, resembling that as such.
A tribe faction might consist of a specific race, raiders might be the pig-people or even neanderthals, which are people with more aggressive power and are more resilient in battles.
We've got cat people, as many folks mentioned and we got even our own space vampires!

We've got pregnancy and children, a way to have the feeling of our colony living, progressing etc. so much more enhanced! It's beautiful and terrifying at the same time to see them grow.
Beautiful because you will see them learn, their skills going up with each year as they learn and get enough growth "progression" (By learning and doing their own childlike stuff) so you can choose a trait for them and skill they shall have passion for. The growth system allows you to feel a form of accomplishment, you gave them your resources in time and allowing them to grow and learn, so they gain better perks/skills in the process and can become one of your best colonists once they reach adulthood or 20's.

Terrifying because these children are fragile, every fight they might end up in being, can be their last. One thing the children love to do; is run around outside in the nature, if there are predators around and no adults that can scare that animal off with weapons, the child is considered 9/10 dead if that predator is faster.
The children can fight from young age, but they are still in small bodies, one bullet or cut can be fatal so it's not worth the risk - unless they get a long range weapon and stay behind their older company of the colony.

Now we could go on about the pros of this expansions, trust me there are many! This DLC is worth every penny for your time if you enjoyed the last few DLC's, this one is even better fine-tuned.
But, there is always that but - there is one con i can't unsee and that some people noticed as well.

Expansions unfortunately play... not quite good around one another. Ideology is barely noticeably changed with this biotech expansion if at ALL. Even though this expansion allows for a lot of creativity with it; for example ideology of only one race allowance (we don't accept anyone else but wasters for example), xenogenetics playing a role in a religion and so much more. The empire is also still just there, they didn't get changed or enhanced with this new DLC besides maybe gaining race perks as soldiers etc. So if one has them as allies or has to fight them, we will see their using a fire vomit for example etc.

So, the DLC is definitely worth a buy, it's PERFECT amount of content for the asking price and i am glad Tynan doesn't go for discounts so the price stays fair like this for all their expansions.

But, if Tynan and his team would like to consider adding extra layers of earlier DLC's to the newer ones so they overlap one another smoother and are enhanced by one another - that would be amazing.
I guess/hope that such thing can also be added or done through patches, but we shall see.
It just would be splendid to see that the DLC's have impact on one another, instead of being solemnly their own identity.

Sincerely, a longtime enjoyer of the Rimworld game since Alpha, thank you for the experience <3

I highly recommend this game to nearly everyone that likes so high-paced gameplay, amazing story and of course loves history!

This game can be fun, dark, romantic or just utterly ridiculous. It's just the best mix of nice storytelling and gameplay that i like. The game keeps you pushing forward for new rewards, new weapons, new upgrades so it doesn't get so stale quickly. Not to mention with every run you do, the boons are different. Which means there are SO MANY possibilities for you to make a nice composition!

I am not gonna write too much, the rest of the reviews are more detailed than mine, but i have to say that i bought this with expecting much less than what i've got, totally worth $20!!!

Early Access Review
Rimworld... a game that seems quite small from outside but once you get into it, it gets so much bigger and deeper!

First of all it is a game where you are the writer of a story and the game itself is too, you decide (to some point of course) what happens with your colony, who does what, learns what etc. AI handles things like relationships, attacks, new colonists, types of characters, types of events and events itself, basically throws things at you. What is really nice is one thing - we have a few narrators, if u are a base-builder type of player you go with Phoebe. You like some danger and unknown and sprinkles of weird nice stories? Random Randy is your guy! More of a steady progress? Go for Cassandra! Just things that can happen in this game are... simply weird and funny!

We have our own colony, we choose scenario how we begin, with three people (standard), tribe or with one man only, we can even make our own one with different rules! With a nice Prepare Carefully mod we can even decide appeareance of our Colonists 100% and with what kind of a equipment they start and such.
After dropping on the planet we try to build our base and survive for as long as we can, till we can build a ship or... not? It's up to you to decide if u want to stay on the planet, travel, change bases, have a few ones, attack pirates etc. It's just that big!

+ Excellent gameplay
+ Unpredictable (if u so desire)
+ Your own game, roleplay, building, war etc.
+ Get's bigger with every update
+ Weather/temperature system, moodlets and more
+ Worth it's price
+ Many types of colonists, everyone is really unique, cannibals, gay people, addicts to drugs, people who don't want to work fast etc. etc.
+/- After a while it can get boring if nothing can destroy your colony or you just have one to manage. It mostly depends on your playstyle if it gets boring fast or not, if yes try to change your gameplay (travel, make war etc.)

Spellforce, it's my childhood game. I have good memories with this game. Played it like about... 300 maybe more hours in total (not on steam version just bought it like 2 weeks ago or something) Main quest is not really that "wow" thing but it's kinda interesting like "what is going on right now? I want to know why it's happening!" game is classic, i don't think graphics are so important but if we talk about that... for the time when the game was released... it's just perfect. Gameplay? Sure it's nice, building you're kinda camp/town and then your army or army can be first too just what suits you (Need some buildings for it first tho to get basic fighters) Resources are a tough thing in the first hour of the game, it's kinda slow and the waiting for food to expand your army.. i think if u take your time and like to build some nice towns like me you will need like 3-5hours at one map! Seriously, and we are not even talking about side quests! Some quests are really hard, some are easy as hell - > just destroy them do that and that done. But sometimes you just get tough enemies. Game has 6 races 3 light and 3 dark (sides). Further and further u will get all of them but there aren't so many missions where u can use more than 1-2 races so it's slowly. Favorite race? Jesus, Elfs for sure, bows, healers, ice magic enemy doesn't have a live anymore, freeze them. Cons? After some time it begins to be little boring, walking from end of the map just to click on a grave stone fight a 12 level man when u are 15 already.. isn't fun, mostly it's the same story -> Build army and destroy enemy. But i really recommend this game i bought this already 3 times.. first was just classic game second platinum too but lost cd so i thought i just buy it on steam when it was on sale, totally worth even when it isn't you will have fun i promise!

What do i have to say about this game... i wanted to play a survival game online or not it didn't matter.
Dayz nope because it's not worth to buy it or even try it if it would be for free, but then i looked at google and this title came up. "Survival game, you need food, materials, and mate's to survive!" Yeah well i thought that looks already amazing but.. normal for such games ofc. I bought it when it was on sale and i sat down with some drinks and started to play. First thoughts? Nice graphics but better optimalization would do a thing tho i play on laptop that's already 2 years old so yeah... ok medium graphics not bad at all really not bad at all so i just let it be on medium (Fps) ok it's ok to play then, story starts at a camp where 2 guys are attacked by zombies (Walkers) they were on a kind of vacation without anything that can socialize(?) you with more poeple, so no internet, phone etc. Ok. They are back at camp, attacked, first win or defeat vs them. That's how our game starts, u have the thoughts like "it looks amazing!" but i have to warn you with that, first hours of the game are excellent but after that? Not really much that will be so nice. You can only play with poeple that are friends of yours so it's kinda nice thing. Zombies are.... fast? Yeah well they pretty are, like top sprinters if u want to ask. Riding a car is kinda awkward at first but it's a matter of opinion and u just have to do it for some minutes then it will kinda be normal to you. Game is short if u are going for the main quest, if u are fast as hell sure 2 hours is enough if u want to do something here and there and you take your time.. 4-5hours? I don't know, i played 3 times (Until, kinda after the church) before i actually went for the main quest, all together took me 36 hours.. personal opinion? Normal for games at this time i guess which is poor but don't buy this game if it's not on sale, just paying for 36 hours isn't worth it i guess personally i think buy don't starve, will take you more time and it's survival too, kinda other thing but better trust me. For now on there isn't any really fantastic and really good online game or single player about survival with zombies (Don't take walking dead in it or last of us because they have good story etc but they are kinda short too if u ask me.) so u can give it a go, but just try to buy it when it's cheap pls? Mechanism of this game is kinda simple weapon, ammo, food, materials and medicine, it's all you need and at first it's hard to find but when u have a car and time and poeple.... u won't have much problem with that trust me. Game is simple, no hardcore or anything, not difficult but still enjoyable? Yeah it was, kinda relaxing but still it didn't took me in, maybe i will play it again in the future but for now this 36hours is enough for me.
6/10
