I saw your message on my profile a bit late, but here's the order of the Legacy of Kain games I'd recommend playing them in. Soul Reaver 1, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2 (it's about Kain himself and sort of a spin-off type deal, but it's in the same world and you should play it after SR2 for reasons), and then Defiance as the final Legacy of Kain game excluding Nosgoth which... it's not really an actual Legacy of Kain game.
