Unfortunately, I am left no choice but to give this game a negative review.
I had such high hopes for this game as the videos and screenshots looked incredible. As I have hundreds of hours played on ark, too me this looked like the next game up in the franchise and I was hoping for better optimization and significantly better servers.
However, my worst fears were soon shown to be true as the infamously bad ark servers repeated themselves with consistent rubber banding and a frame rate barely scraping 10 frames at times on my GTX1080.
The developers really shot themself in the ass with releasing this game in its current state as now it is unlikely to ever recover from such bad press.

Whatever you imagined Arma would be like, this does it 10x better...

100% THE BEST game of 2016, I've managed to sink over 400 hours into this game in a matter of months. Constant action and the ability to make game changing tactical plays makes this the best FPS game I'v ever played. Very tense game play creates an immersive experience and the class aspect allows for all players to fight each other with similarly matched weaponry and balanced operators. 10/10 would recommend over ANY other game as of 2016.

(Edit) Can confirm as of 2020, still my go to recommended game and have managed to sink 1000 hours in without it ever feeling boring or repetitive. Few more hackers in ranked games these days but other than that no complaints at all, new core dev team still puts out quality content and game balancing is constantly happening. The games' competitiveness is still strong and ranked map rotation is better than ever. Still 10/10.

Really Really like this game, only problem is that unless you have some mates with you, it can get a bit dull. Definately reccommend if you have at least 1 friend who you can play CO-OP with.

I don' think I have ever changed my review for a game before but here we are. The game has come a long long way over the last few years since its release. It feels incredibly polished and the mechanics we had hoped for and were promised have been delivered and so much more.

Already loving every aspect of the game and would highly recommend it to anyone who maybe refunded the game soon after its launch or didn't quite get around to buying it years before.

Undoubtably the best strategy game around. I think its a MUST buy for anyone looking for some games to pass the time.

Bought this game thinking it would be a great independant battle royale game. Please read this before you decide to buy this game,

Pro's:
- Good Crafting System
- Easy to play with friends
- Variety of Unique perks / skills

Con's:
- Annoying Commentator Voice
- Mediocre Graphics
- Very bad feeling combat: Buggy, slow and not exciting
- Stupidly long queue times
- Overpriced
- Un-Reliable loot system with similar loot
- Weapons feel flimsy, especially spears and bows

Decide for yourself but you should know that the combat feels very sluggish and boring, the map isn't well shown so finding your way to the centre can be difficult and the fact that I spent nearly as long in the queue for a game as I did playing it became very frustrating.

Surprisingly good game, and honestly I'm dissapointed that I didn't try it earlier because I never thought it looked all that great. Despite the mediocre graphics, the gameplay is really fun and the claims that the game is Pay to Win simply aren't valid as from my experience the unlockable guns seem just as good, if not better.

Really great game, new content all the time and recent update has made the game even better than before with the new dev team. Congratas to them on making such a well polished rounded game with loads to do and great fun for hours at a time.

Only thing I'd like to see is hiests that can have more than 4 man teams in so u can play with all your friends at once.
