This game absolutely slaps. Reminded me that I actually do still like Star Wars (after getting burnt out by the sequels). I'm a sucker for both mysterious space magic and exploring abandoned ruins of a technologically advanced but now-vanished culture (IN SPACE) and this game has both of those things. Has authentic Star Wars vibes without leaning too hard on cheap nostalgia bait. Good story. good characters. great visuals, fun exploration, really well-made package overall.

It's a great game at it's core, but over 6 months in the PC performance is still absolutely unacceptable, the UI is still completely broken, and the progression system is still absolutely miserable. I want to like this game so badly, but every time I boot it up it inevitably crashes to desktop, or the UI fails to load, or I get stuck joining a game and can't leave, or the audio starts bugging out, etc. etc...
The core gameplay is fantastic but everything surrounding it is a slog to deal with at best and completely nonfunctional at worst. Special shout out to the battle pass system for being the most utterly miserable garbage I have ever had the misfortune of actually paying for in my life. I'd say avoid this game until it gets polished up, but considering the absolutely glacial pace of even simple bug fixes and the fact that the devs are clearly in over their heads dealing with a spaghetti code hydra the size of a small moon I'm doubtful it will ever really reach a stable position.
TL;DR good gameplay bad UX. Avoid for now.

I bought this on a whim after replaying the Trilogy expecting a so-bad-it's-funny mess, but I quickly found myself completely immersed in the story and characters enough to see it through to the end. Yes, I got stuck in the floor a few times. Yes, the facial animations look like sock puppets. But if you look past that, this game is a really immersive and enjoyable RPG with great characters and an engrossing story. It still has that Bioware magic that made me fall in love with the Mass Effect universe.

An absolutely incredible platformer/metroidvania mashup. Awesome soundtrack, hilarious dialogue, and the best level design I've seen in years. 100%'d on my first playthrough because I didn't want it to end. If you want a game that is just fun to play, get The Messenger.

Can't believe I didn't play this sooner. Retroactively my GOTY 2017.
If you put Metroid Prime, System Shock, and Deus Ex into a blender you get Prey.
If you're a fan of any of these, play this game.

An excellent little pure stealth game. Cohesive level design and some truly amazing boss battles with a surprisingly good story. A little rough around the edges, I presume because of limited budget, but definitely worth a go if you like stealth.
