A very fun rogue light shooter. The weapons feel great, have weight to every shot. The scenery/atmosphere is great, very immersive, sound design hits. Interesting RPG with stats that give you more effects as you level them up. Each run has rolls you get, little passive boosts so each run feels just a bit different that doesn't get stale. There's a magic system I haven't explored yet, but I'm looking forward to.

If you like old school/Resident Evil 1 kind of games, sci-fi with cosmic horror/mystery, check this one out. It's a hell of a ride.

So far it's a great, immersive CRPG. If you like table top D&D 5e, this is a great video game adaptation of the rule set. The turn based combat is tight and fluid. Amazing writing, the funny parts are hilarious, interesting characters, I love talking to them, my companions the most, and learning more about them, what side journeys I can go on with them. The graphics are beautiful, character animations, talking, gesturing, idle... make the characters feel alive. Sound design and music is also amazing.
The only negative thing so far is that only the party member talking/interacting can do an ability check, I wish there was an option to turn to you wizard and ask him to do the arcana check for a magical related point, or the cleric to do the insight check to see if the person is lying...
Also I wanna say I purchased this game mostly because of Larian's business practice, even if I drop the game now, I will not regret the purchase.

So far it's a great sequel to the first game, so I'll just copy past my old review.

If you like Dark Souls, but bigger, this game is for you. At first I was skeptical about the open words, but I'm 100 hours in and I love every second of exploring this amazing world.
The only negative I can think of is that this is not the Dark Souls world, but it's own thing. (still great)

If you like old school Resident Evil mixed with Amnesia, Half Life and other horror games, I think you should check this one out. Great price for a great 2.5 hour experience.

I played 88 hours of it and did most of the content, minus some RNG farming.

If you're in a long distance relationship, get in a call with your partner, stream the game and play it together.

Amazing experience, great game.
