The closest people are going to get to an actual Monster Girl Quest game, if judging by the Steam Workshop.

Essentially a really long interactive movie that poses as a short video game. Only grab it when it's on sale.

The game itself is a weird mix of something akin to an "easy" but still very rhythmic Dark Souls-Sekiro combo experience. Most of the game consists of fighting multiple enemies at once rather than single combat, but the system in place allows you to respond extremely fluidly in any direction.

The story isn't anything overly-dramatic. Very pretty, but unfortunately because it was designed to be pretty as a flagship game for its time.

There is no mechanical function of Mystia's sprite appearing during the actual restaurant gameplay section except for looking cute.
