The microtransactions don't effect gameplay! Just buy the game and you won't regret it!!!!!!

UPDATE: Guys I still don't regret it after another 35 hours. This is a game of the year contender if I'm being honest my fellow Arisen. I'm an single player RPG veteran, and if you're considering buying the game, do NOT let negative reviews deter you from your purchase. This game is a blend of Skyrim and Dark Souls due to its ability to teach you how to play the game without any hand holding while letting you explore in a beautiful medieval environment as you get stronger. This game encouraged me to watch a few guides so I don't make huge mistakes during my first playthrough, and the Vocation (Class) system they have setup is brilliant and encourages you to try different playstyles. Getting quests feels so natural because NPC's come up to YOU to give you most of the quests instead of you going to THEM. That one small difference makes the BIGGEST change for added world immersion and story progression. Having your companions that have different attitudes and voices also adds another layer to that. I know its $70, and if that's too much to purchase right now, then I get it, but promise me you'll buy this when it's on sale because it is worth the experience.

When I played through Season 1 I enjoyed getting Gold in the competitive ranking and the game felt very good to play. Great movement, high octane gameplay, and a strong gameplay loop. I haven't played for about 4 months, but holy. Season 2 is horrible right now (the start of Season 2). I don't know when they nerfed the movement, but the gameplay feels so slow. Playing as a Medium feels like I'm moving around as a stunned Heavy, or maybe a better comparison is how it feels to run in real life. I feel like my aim and aggro pushes are punished now since all guns and momentum has been completely changed. If you played early in Season 1, then do not expect the same game. The current state of this game seems like the developers want the game to be based around using your equipment tactically and it doesn't make any sense. The game still looks beautiful and I love the customization, but I honestly can't believe they made the game worse when it started off so strong. In my opinion, they need to create fast and high octane gameplay while maintaining how punishing it can be for a team wipe to happen. Kinda how it felt when the game first launched....

I highly recommend you and your friends to play it!

I didn't play Resident Evil 7, but this game has fun progression and ties into the Resident Evil world very well. If you want a spooky game with some problem solving and a good story, then this game won't let you down!

I don't write a review too often, but I was always interested in this title upon hearing of it's concept and seeing the trailers. To be brief, this game pushes you to play and cooperate with the people you play with and has a great sense of suspense. It's very difficult so this game is not for the faint of heart, but it is a game that has FREE periodical updates and added maps to it's content regularly. The game loop of this brilliant FPS has you learn hard from your mistakes and then succeed from your hard work (and teamwork). I would buy this game while it's slightly discounted, because I'm very excited to see what kind of game this can become!

I have put too much time into this game just for Epic Games to pee on it, throw it in the trash, eat the battle pass and poop it out into some abomination that they want you to pay money for. I WOULD RATHER HAVE LOOT BOXES BACK. The actual content of the game has not changed since 1945 when my grandfather fought in World War 2. Servers seem to be worse? The game seems to be worse as time goes on? The community is filled with toxic children that don't play anything but Roblox since they can only play E rated games. If you want to play it to have fun, then it's actually great. If you want to take it seriously like me, then your life will be filled with endless regret until you uninstall the game and tell your neighbors you are sorry for yelling due to a child that was on your team spamming "What a save!" after you missed your double flip reset Musty flick. Trash game, don't touch it.

I've played an additional 736 hours now for the revised version of this review. My opinion hasn't changed. Only play this with friends though (no exceptions).

Tastes good

Wonderful and beautiful game. The story is very complete and the plot flows perfectly with the character and what he's trying to accomplish, but the developers made it difficult to determine where to go next at certain points in the game. All that aside, the suit is such a different concept that most gaming companies don't incorperate, which involves momentum and planning your next move before you hit the ground, and the game mechanics shine in that area with precision enhanced fun (if you like games like rocket league). There are also colectables throughout the entirety of the game for people striving for all the secrets and lore of the world, with some upgrades to help you along the way as well. The story and mechanics work nicely; however, the enemies are a different story, they are repetitive, bland, and very very easy to beat, but again they are very unusual and scary at first which was interesting and suspensful, and then they started to become annoying in the end. Also, the end boss doesn't necessarily complete the game's sincerity, which is why I would recommend playing this on a higher difficulty if you're looking to play for a decent amount of time or for a fun challenge. Altogether, I recommend this game on sale especially for $5.00 because it is a breath of fresh air if you're looking to take a short break from other games.

Summary: It's a very fun game and is definetally worth your time which I recommend, but very short with fun mechanics and upgrades through the game, also with slightly repetitive enemies and pretty easy. Buy it when it's on sale!

Let me start off by saying that this game is amazing for a time to relax with friends. By no means is this game a single player or something to be enjoyed by yourself unless you enjoy something like the forge mode from Halo, because they do have a very well designed map creator. With friends is where this game shines. They have a wide variety of maps to download (subscribe to) in the workshop and well designed maps that come default with the game, along with scoreboards at the start up menu. All that being said, buy it for the freindship and relaxing golf setting, but stay for the more hardcore and challenging maps that you and friends are bound to have fun in.
