it's adorable, it's intuitive, you can parkour like a madman and you can literally wear sh1t on your head 10/10

I don't know if i have a positive or negative review for this game, there is so much about it that was fantastic, the art work oh my god the art work is incredible. The metroidvania style, the way you decide your direction with the abilities you have was done well in a way, the monsters although are always screeching like 4chaners and neckbeards posed a threat but given a little time were manageable . now all of these things are great if you can actually just take a second to look at the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map, every time you die or move to another area you lose your previously explored map which would be fine if you could kind of remember the places youve been maybe because of certain specific world gen that had some kind of significance. but for the most part the main areas all look the same given a few boss areas, ok thats cool so then ill just have a glance at the map! NOPE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monsters everywhere all the time and for some reason the game doesnt pause when you look at the map, this leads to hours of just wondering around hoping im moving in the right direction( which i rarely was) on top of this you know there a beautiful parts of the game i just wanted to have a second to look at but no, ♥♥♥♥ loads of monsters everywhere, not significant enemies, just filler garbage that spawns endlessly. now the hack and slash kinda game can be fun but only for maybe an hour before you start to wonder what am i even killing these for? a few crytsals for some upgrades? ( not nearly enough for anything) so its just a gengeral annoyance that stops you from enjoying this NEARLY MASTERPIECE.

tldr:
♥♥♥♥ everywhere, cant follow the map, artwork is fantastic, abilities fantastic and bosses incredibly fantastic. i just wanted to take a second to enjoy my surroundings a lil bit. after a while the game feels like ecco the doplhin on sega KKV
