Initially gave this game thumbs down but many of the issues have been addressed.
After 1.5 update, this game feels much more complete than before. If you have been waiting for more polished Vic3 then wait for 1.6 or final 1.5.x update and try it out.

Issues that still persist:
- bad UI (still too much wasted space on panels, notification spam at the bottom of the screen, some new pop up dialog look like placeholder UI)
- annoying bugs (weak puppet armies taking over the offensives and prevent your armies from attacking, multiplayer desyncs)

This game is pure addiction.
Every time I see the loading screen, I remember my own words from last session "I promise to not come back to this game ever again". But eventually I launch this game and end up forgetting to eat, study and my sleep schedule gets completely messed up. I start to unconsciously ignore all of my friends and it might take a few days of recovery to start normally socializing again.
I would've had way more hours if i didn't force myself to NOT play this game.

If you enjoy map painting, this is right up to your alley(if you are more into roleplaying a country then i'd rather recommend Victoria 2).

DLC policies are atrocious but manageable. I recommend looking up DLC tier lists and get the most important ones. You will have decent experience with just few DLCs. And of course, wait for sales.
