My save is always deleted. Its a lot of fun to play for 20+ hours to have your save randomly deleted.

Is pretty fun. Am excited to see what the devs add over time.

In the next update, a better way to collect water is an essential. I have almost a third of my workforce just to collect water.

I loved it.

Pros:
-These games all have a great story and fantastic enviroments. This time, you won't just be chilling in the metro or running around in the snow all game.

-They added a lot of quality of life improvements like being able to switch weapons for free at base, able to craft weapons at base, being able to craft med kits and filters anywhere, and being able to switch attachments on weapons anywhere and for free. Masks can also be fixed so you won't have to run around with a cracked mask until finding a new one.

-They got rid of shops entirely and any gun you find is stored at base.

-Weapons are all now top-tier instead of being handmade and don't use shoddy ammo. All weapons are now viable against mutants, not just the shotgun.

-A lot less linear. Each new stage is a lot more open, especially the first and second places you visit while on the train. There are also side quests.

-The NPCs will actually acknowledge you normally instead of staring into space while you are near them. Makes you care about them a bit more.

-You have a bit of impact on the enviroment. I remember listening to 2 enemies discussing about me, saying how I'd kill entire groups with ease but wouldn't kill those who surrendered. It was a nice touch.

-Enemies are not as stupid. They will yell your location to other enemies. They won't pop their heads up while you are shooting at them. They can see you if you walk right in front of them.

-Spider mutants are used more. They make the game terrifying. They are the only enemies that make me genuinely panic while trying to fight them. Makes the game a lot more thrilling.

-Weapons require maintenance which is a nice touch. If your gun becomes too dirty, it will jam and the sights will be smudged.

-A lot more variety in mutants.

Cons:
-It is so glitchy and crashed constantly. I had to play in safe mode the entire time. I also would get stuck randomly and would have to reload. The game would freeze and I'd have to restart computer.

-Real lack of guns. There was less guns in this game than Metro Last Light. Granted they had a lot more customization options, but still its really cool to find new weapons.

-The amount of enemies started to become irritating. The ghouls in the desert are a pain and are literally everywhere on the map. The last stage has so many of these worm mutants sticking to the walls and were seemingly endless. At one part, you'd have to stop using your rowboat, kill 5 of them, start rowing again for a second, stop again, kill 5 more, and they would reappear as fast as you could kill them.

-You frequently will have to do missions with another Spartan from the order. No one likes being lead by an NPC. It slows the game down and you typically just stand around waiting for them to catch up. Either don't have them or have the NPC at least run the same speed as you.

-The main story, without doing the side quests, is really short. Doing all of the side missions and trying to be stealthy still only made the game last for 17 hours. They should have put in more side quests honestly.

Personal Wishes:
-I wish you could upgrade the train more or have side quests in each area where you can add a new train car. I also think it would've been cool to have more fights while on the train,

-I wish you could recruit more characters through side quests. Maybe they make special equipment or ammo or make a quest a bit easier in the future.

-I wish you got some dialogue options instead of characters talking for you.

Final Thoughts:
Definitely worth buying if you are a fan of the series. The glitches and crashing are annoying though so take that into consideration.

(Below are minor spoilers about the ending, but no actual plot reveals.)

The bad ending is super depressing but a lot more interesting. It probably sucks to spend 15 hours on this and then get such a sad ending. I didn't realize there was a bad ending until after beating the game until I checked the wiki.

I got the good one but it is a bit of a pain. Just have to not kill people in excess. If someone tells you to avoid killing certain people during a mission, opt for stealth. Complete all side missions. The morality system isn't unfair though. You don't have to spend the entire game only knocking people out. I've killed entire camps instead of sneaking past them.

Tip for people saying its too hard: Destroy all your non-essential buildings gradually once ships stop coming (basically everything except for infirmaries and tents). Turn the wood you get from them into coal using charcoal burners. It is pretty easy to have the generator done a week early by extending hours and selfless sacrifice.

DLC is a lot different than the base game, unsure if its worth the price but its defenitely fun.

Devs now require you to make another account through their company. On a singleplayer game. No one likes when devs do this. Change any reviews to do not recommend until they remove this feature.

The game is extremely demanding on hardware which is why there are so many poor reviews about it crashing. I've had zero issues as of yet and I have almost 20 hours of playtime. Check the required specs before buying.

I haven't completed the game yet but it is great. Shooting is tight and it is fun as heck to go on robberies. It seems they have also patched the game so actions are a bit quicker than they were before (like getting onto horse and looting bodies). My only complaint is fast travel is lacking but there is typically a few things to do on the way to any missions such as bandit encounters or hunting.

Game is really fun and I made the mistake of buying it right before finals.

Would love to finish the game but it keeps crashing every 10 minutes. Fun otherwise.

I thought it was fun but I am an outsider coming into the series. Series that run on for too long have the issue with people rating it with nostalgia boners, saying the new games will never come close to the old. It is a big issue with the Fallout series where no game will ever come close to New Vegas.

Is fun game.

Vig's attack needs to be made powerful

It breaks my heart to say this, but I do not reccomend this DLC. The first part is really fun and the enemy is really neat, but the part with the gnomes.... It is so glitchy and frustrating to the point I have to stop playing the game multiple times because they'll just get in the way or won't perform a task. Please fix the AI.
